Hm, a suggestion - You might want to turn off the Bull Moose/Progressive Party during the primary process, because technically, they weren't formed until after the Republican National Convention and Taft's stealing of the nomination.

I don't believe it is possible to have a party deactivated during the primaries, but activated when the general starts.

I know there were discussions on the boards about developing a game trigger in which a major party candidate (usually Ron Paul, but also I think Chuck Hagel might have been mentioned) loses the primary but then starts a third party. I dunno if TheorySpark was looking into that or not.

Hate to bump, but I think I have an idea on how to do it-

The Bull Moose Party starts out with 0.1% nationwide and is constantly battered about with scripted scandals so that it does not get very strong. On the 2nd Day of the general, make an event that, assuming the Republican Version of TR doesn't exist anymore, they suddenly surge nationwide with a series of scripted events.

I know this thread is old, but it's just help if someone wants to restart this.
