I would really like to see the last Iceland, Netherlands or Spanish general election as maps are available.

Update

Eurovision Scenario - Continuing ridings work...(Low priority)

Labour leadership election 1976 - Ridings finished, regional centers fin, in middle of candidate issue configuration. Still to do events and endorsers, but hopefully a release soon. (High priority)

Gaul 50 BC - Nothing to note! (Very low priority)

Newbury 1993 By-election - Ridings finished, started on candidates, making issues up(medium priority)

MONSTER scenario - Coming along nicely, and will be released soon(high priority)

Scotland - 2015 - Getting party logos ready, and making brand new Tory logo (high priority)

What is the MONSTER scenario?

Also- Margo MacDonald should be an alternate leader of the SNP in Scotland 2015, since she would've rejoined the party and she seems to have made a name for herself in politics and journalism.

Yes i'll put in Margo as an alternate leader, keeping the 3 i have already.

Yes, aha, the MONSTER scenario. Wait and see, i will release it soon.

I am now in the playtesting stages of Labour Leadership Election 1976.

Update

Eurovision Scenario - (Low priority)

Gaul 50 BC - (Inactive)

Newbury 1993 By-election - Ridings finished, started on candidates, making issues up(High priority)

Scotland - 2015 - (High priority)

Finland - 2007 Still to begin (medium priority)

Upcoming scenarios (in order this time):

By-election - to be decided by poll

Liberal democrat Career mode 1st level

Belgium 2003

I've had to drop Gaul 50bc for now, in prference to doing another by-election and onto more career and Europe elections. It would take rather long, as it would have alot of candidates. I'm hoping to make the Lib Dem career scenario to be an improvement on the previous 2, knowing what i know now!

For now i will focus on the logo work for Patine and Matvail2002.

Here is the new Scottish Conservative logo for Scotland 2015, it's font could be better but i still like it:

Otterlogo_new1copy7.jpg

The animal is the sea otter, which is largely associated with Scottish rural wildlife, and the green which resembles a lilypad, passing off the same impression of the previous Tory logo, a more environmentally friendly party.

For Finland 2007, i've established 10 parties, or rounded them off as 10 parties, considering "others".

Centre

National Coalition

Social Democratic

Left Alliance

Green League

Christian Democrats

Swedish People's Party

True Finns

Communist

Others

All parties had seats in the last election apart from the Communist party. I decided to free the Communist as they were the biggest party of the others last election, and for variety purposes. This is the order they will be in. Haven't done much else apart from collecting a good Finland election map.

On the by-election front, this is, as in long-term thinking, after the 5 i'm doing including Newbury, i envisage a more varied line-up of much older by-elections with of course, very recent ones, 1 or 2 of them. Norwich South 2009 of course would be an ideal one, or Glasgow North East, but that's if it's a SNP gain, but i think that may not happen. There's some good Liberal party and SDP gains from Tories in the early 80's and 70's such as Cyril Smith for Rochdale in 1972, Clement Freud for Isle of Ely in 1970 something. Plus even older ones than that. As for Scottish Parliament and Welsh Assembly by-elections, there is no great choice at all, the only by-election to note is Ayr 1999, a Tory gain from Labour.

Also what could be done, is a by-election where the seat was held but was closely held, such as Penrith and The Border by-election, 1983, where Tory Deputy PM Willie Whitelaw left his seat for a peerage in House of Lords, and the by-election made way for a large swing to the Liberal-SDP, and only came 2% short of taking the seat. So keeping to a UK theme in both council and by-elections, would like to do non UK ones some day (Landtag anyone?), but i want to provide more UK ones for the long future it seems. European country elections still gain more priority than this remember.

Treasurer,

Would you like me to get started on Scotland 2015 or have you already started on it?

I could still complement it, if you're interested.

Let me finish the party logos, and do electorate trends, and then i can send it back to you.

1989 Richmond, is definetely to be noted, a famous Tory MP, a viable third party and the rare occurence of the SDP and "Social and Liberal Democrats"? Definetely a contender.

Update

Eurovision Scenario - Progress is slow, but got around ridings file seats, still to arrange percentages.(Low priority)

Newbury 1993 By-election - Candidates stage mostly finished. Decided on all 18 issues, only some issue statements needed for new issues. Unfortunatley i have not been able to find photos of the Conservative or Labour candidate, while i have found some for the more obscure parties, but not all.(High priority)

Scotland - 2015 - (High priority)

Finland - 2007 - Rough map made, assembling region names and merging Helsinki with the outer region(name fails me now). Helsinki only contains 1 seat. Assembled party logos and decided on party colours.(medium priority)

Glasgow Hillhead 1982 by-election - Began work on. Have collected candidate photos

for all but 2 candidates. The green and Independent "phoney name" candidate i can not find, but at least i have ones for the mainstream parties. I had no problem finding the 1982 boundaries, but as ward boundaries were different back then to recent, i just used google maps and wikipedia to help outline main areas. The map is finished. There will be 7 regions, and i have an an idea where certain parties will do better in.(High priority)

NOTE: When November comes, proceeding will be disrupted, as i will also work on the Best PM & Non-PM scenarios for a Christmas release, hopefully. I think i will use my own version of the UK map for that.

I will solely be concentrating on the 3 scenario's of "Best British PM", "Best British PM we never had" and the "Best Eurovision Nation" scenarios, as i'm not taking any chances, as i'd like a Christmas release for all. If you want to know the 16 candidates for any of those scenario's. just ask! However, i am still in the middle of compiling the British PM's we never had!

Completed ridings for Best British PM, and now making a start on the non-PM ridings. This scenario will be called "Best British PM We Never Had", as it doesn't sound as daft as best non-PM. Once i finish those ridings, i'll get the candidates merged in etc. The Eurovision scenario has a third of it's ridings finished, but will not be touched until i complete the first 2 completely.

I haven't got to that stage yet, but the main themes were the induction of a minimum income which covers minimum wage and family benefits. Also VAT on food and income tax reduction. The economy was booming at this point so, it won't be an issue. The scenario is inactive for the now, but i think i'll be just going onto ridings/issues as the map and region co ordinates have already been done.

Oh well, the scenarios in questions won't be coming out now till January at least, so i've had other stuff to do, and haven't been able to concentrate on the task at hand, so i have quite a backlog now, and i hope to still release the Prime Minister scenarios next. Will probably release them 1-by-1 and not as a double pack!

I'll be releasing a 2010 scenario too. Healthy competition is good.

For the 2005 or 2010 scenario, my 2005 - Advanced ridings file has all the correct polling numbers, unlike the original TheorySpark scenario. Use that if you like, but it's in my regions schema, so bear that in mind.

Treasurer, I remember you wanted to explore the idea of a scenario with a center-left (labour) party in favour of a monarchy and the center-right (conservatives) opposed. I was wondering if you wanted to go with the original Caribbean idea, or revisit my Carrassia scenario and revamp it along those lines. I remember it featured a green party and liberal party as well. Naturally we should change the names of the two major parties...

What do you think?

That scenario was called Opnosis Islands. Matvail was interested in doing it, but I don't know if anything's been done. If that's the case, then we can transfer this idea to the Carassia/Abala map, with still the four parties, and they would all be strong in one region at least for the islands. I like the sound of the idea still. This was the party set-up:

Socialist Monarchists (blue)

Progressive Conservative (red)

Liberal (yellow)

Ecology Party (light-green)

What are your thoughts on new names for the main 2 parties, although I am happy with progressive Conservatives, as well as the colours attached. Socialist Monarchists doesn't sound too great, so give me some ideas!
