Treasurer
This is just a helpful note to myself and others for users who have a long list of scenario's they wish to make themselves. If i say" with my map" it should mean the one i used for the 1987 election UK scenario. Subject to change though, as i might replace with a neater looking UK map. NEW LOOK MAP IS FINISHED. Here's mine's in the order i will do them): SCENARIO'S COMING UP NEXT: Council Local Scenarios: Abgeordnetenhaus von Berlin/House of Representatives of Berlin Election 2001 Exeter Council Election 2008 Wyre Forest Council Election 2008 Fife Council Election 2007 Newcastle City Council Election 2004 Cambridge City Council Election 1984 City/region Westminster Elections: Rugby and Kennilworth 1997 Westminster Election Highlands Region Westminster Election 1979 Leadership Elections: By-elections: Glasgow Hillhead 1982 By-election Glasgow East 2008 By-election Wirral South 1997 By-election Leicester South 2004 By-election UK elections: European Elections: Netherlands general election 2003 Belgium 2003 Iceland 2009 Finland 2007 Fictional Scenario List : Historical Best Non-PM Scotland 2015 Eurovision scenario Middle Eastern Fictional Nation Career Series Scenario List: Win Favour with the Lib Dems Win Favour with the Others Council by-election Council Leader Election MP By-Election Member of Cabinet Election (Labour) Member of Cabinet Election (Conservative) Member of Cabinet Election (Liberal Democrat) Member of Cabinet Election (Others) Leadership Election (Labour) Leadership Election (Conservative) Leadership Election (Liberal Democrat) Leadership Election (Others) General Election (All 4 parties) That's all for now. extreme_right
Some suggestions... For the English By election Winchester 1997 Newbury 1993 Bootle 1990 (either of the two) Liverpool Walton 1991 Wirral South 1997 Birmingham Hodge Hill 2004 Leicester South 2004 (Also I'm working on Christchurch 1993, maybe you'd like to help me out with the map and issues). For the English Council election I'll put in a word for my own council, Bournemouth 2007. I can help with some issues.

Kauai
Another suggestion I would like to make, that I've never seen anyone even mention. A Russian Parliamentary one. The wikipedia article on the election has some good information for the upcoming 2007 election you could use, or you could do a 2003 one. In any case, I'd be willing to help in any way possible, as I'd really like to see this.
Manic
(Also I'm working on Christchurch 1993, maybe you'd like to help me out with the map and issues). Would have been an interesting one! Is anyone still developing any scenarios? It seems like, three years after the games release, the flow of scenarios has stopped. To be expected, I suppose. Kauai, I have considered doing something like this, but I consider my Rocentia election to be really close and also much more competitive than the RL Russian elections. Treasurer, I would like to see a New Zealand or South Africa scenario. I certainly can make them- I just need maps of the countries. Is there any chance you could send me .bmp maps of those countries? You're much better at it than I ever could be as far as map-making. Treasurer
I've added more Council Elections to my list. After that, i'm going to do a series of at least 5 by-elections, bar the Crewe & Nantwich one. I've taken note of the ones above, including Rugby, and i would like to know if you have any other suggestions.

Treasurer
Rugby and Kennilworth is added to the list. Only 4 By-election slots to fill because i want to get on to my next series, which is of general elections. Also, suggest which 4 European country elections i should do. Make sure they're researchable and do-able. After that series, possibly elections in countries from outside Europe? I'm not sure for now, or maybe a return to another series of council/by-elections. Treasurer
It could be based on this chart, however this only charts the 20th Century Prime Ministers. It would definetely be right to insert in an earlier Prime Minister or 2. Thatcher as the best? I won't start work on this scenario for some time, so plenty of time to think. Remember also, a limit of 16 candidates in the game. 5 Margaret Thatcher 1979-90 5 Clement Attlee 1945-51 4 Edward Heath 1970-4 4 Winston Churchill 1940-5, 1951-5 4 Harold Macmillan 1957-63 4 Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman 1905-8 3 Lord Salisbury 1885-92, 1895-1902 3 Herbert Asquith 1908-16 3 David Lloyd George 1916-22 3 Stanley Baldwin 1923, 1924-9, 1935-7 3 Harold Wilson 1964-70, 1974-6 3 Tony Blair 1997- 2 James Callaghan 1976-9 2 Arthur Balfour 1902-5 1 Andrew Bonar Law 1922-3 1 Ramsay MacDonald 1924, 1929-35 1 Sir Alec Douglas-Home 1963-4 1 John Major 1990-7 0 Anthony Eden 1955-7 0 Neville Chamberlain 1937-

graemp
I have loads of scenarios that were nearly finished or half done. In virtually all cases, the 'not done' bits usually include 'Issues' and 'Events'. If anyone wants to help complete any of these by doing the Events or Scenario files, please let me know. Those that are either partial, nearly done or complete include most of UK General Elections 1900-2007 plus London 1907 which was going nicely until I hit a bug. I have also worked on 'UK General Election' scenarios for 1915 and 1940.
Treasurer
Can i have all of your General Election scenario's before 1945 and your London one. I can't seem to find in-depth results for UK elections before 1945 and this would help alot. Email is: treasurerofthepc at yahoo.com

Treasurer
Which one(s) is the focus on at the moment? The list is in the exact order i want to do them, however those ones i said, at the bottom of my headline post might be squeezed in, but not for now. So i've just completed the Edinburgh one and now onto Liverpool 1983.
Treasurer
This is my rough suggestions for the European scenario's. One problem i find is, it seems imposible to find candidate names, even for ones elected in seats, and also seat names but i know some just go by "province name 1, province name 2" etc. The 4 are(all general elections): Germany 1990 Finland 2007 Belgium 2003 Bulgaria 2005 I'm leaving France alone, because i know there's 2 users coming up with presidential elections for it. Vordania
I have played both the Glasgow scenarios you created, and I have to say that they were brilliant. It was really interesting just focusing a campaign on a small group of constituencies. As a Tory the 1950's scenraio was most enjoyable due to the city being competitive. The 1992 version was also pleasing though as I managed to pick up two seats for the Tories in my first go. I noticed that you were planning on a Liverpool scenario, and I wondered if you had considered an earlier election for this city as well, when it was also competitive. The 1964 election springs to mind as an interesting one as it was during this election that Labour gained four seats from the Tories with massive swings, leaving the Tories with just two seats out of nine in the city. Certainly an entertaining election! Also I look forward to the creation of a Belgium scenario, a real variety of parties on offer there. Treasurer
Yes, Belgium is a 3-way fight, as is Finland, thanks to PR. I actually think the 1951 Glasgow scenario was one of my weakest, until now, as i have made it harder and renewed the link in my scenario's topic. Yes, i am close to finishing the 1983 Liverpool one, and when i do another round of those types of elections, i will include Liverpool '64. Can't guarantee when though, i might not have my current list finished by end of the year. And oh yes, thanks for the great feedback! Treasurer
I've added the 5 European elections to the list, with Iceland replacing Bulgaria, not sure what year i'm doing for that one yet. Let this be the last addition to the list, until i finish most of it, and can then think what the next series of 5 will be, either: 1. 5 fictional scenarios-maybe based on ideas(likely) or completely made up ones, or a mixture of both. 2.5 Elections outside Europe. 3. Series of 5 leadership elections (UK based ones) 4. Another 5 of Westminster small scale elections. 5. Or maybe more random. Not sure. Plenty of time to consider.
