Labour Ken Livingstone (incumbent) And possibly a fringe challenger Conservative Actually held a full open US style primary Richard Barnes - London Assembly member for Ealing and Hillingdon (withdrew in July 2007 and announced his support for Boris Johnson [7]) Andrew Boff [8] Nicholas Boles - Policy Exchange think-tank director (withdrew in July 2007 for health reasons [9]) Victoria Borwick - Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea councillor Warwick Lightfoot - Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea councillor Lee Rotherham Prospective applicants who subsequently publicly declared were: Lurline Champagnie - London Borough of Harrow councillor and former mayor [10] Winston McKenzie - former boxer [11] Mike Read - disc jockey [12] (withdrew in July 2007 following a change in the voting system for Conservative candidate [13]) Borris Johnson - MP for Henley (the actual selected nominee) Lib Dem Brian Paddick Chamali Fernando Cllr Fiyaz Mughal Green Siân Berry (selected in an "closed" primary), Shahrar Ali, Shane Collins, Katie Dawson and Terry McGrenera.
