progressivedem 2
i'm thinking James L. Witt, Clinton's FEMA director, for the Greens...???? maybe Browner as VP? couple Celebs types too - Redford (?), Beatty (?), ya know ??? And some big enviornmeny guys in Congress now - Kucinich, etc. What about Nader? And the rest of the current Greens (Camejo, Cobb, LaMarche, etc.) How did the Greens win Virginia?!?! johnny_raoul 0
no idea re: Va spacebar greens take votes away from Dems across the board - but I've set most RED states at 40% leaning to---- ain't done regions/issues yet nadar sux Greens want to be in Primetime they need someone who wears a pressed suit
progressivedem 2
But the "old" Greens would probably be upset about these "noobs" coming and stealing thier party. I would at least give them a VP slot. And the Greens would probably be more powerful in places where natural disasters are more prone (Gulf Coast, esp. Louisiana and Florida I would think.) johnny_raoul 0
ahead of ya there certain key issues will swing in the Greens favor in Hurricane, drought, wildfire states I don't know Green party so much, but those folks you named would probably stand down and opt for behind the scenes roles if they can get a "name" candidate? Excellent - which states did you have in mind? And I would probably agree with the "back scene" roles, but only if they felt the new guys believed the same thing and weren't just trying to jump on the bandwagon. Again, I'd put the current main Greens as VP choices, and maybe main. But I don't really know too much about the party either. And Nader would probably be a little irked, although in 2004 the Greens didn't endorse him, and I do recall them giving him some pretty harsh criticism, so who knows.
