It still seems like there are glaring issues with it.

First off, Jim Pankiw is still listed as a candidate in Saskatoon-Humboldt, as the incumbent no less. Pankiw is actually running as an Independant in Battlefords-Lloydminister, definately not as the incumbent.

Also, it seems like the support percentages are out of whack. It's still way too easy for the NDP to win 50+ seats without even trying, plus Coyne is a little too competitive in Toronto-Danforth.

Sorry it's not perfect, and the names of riding candidates don't really matter anyways...

How popular is Jim Pankiw? The reason I ask is that he almost always wins his seat, that's all.

Also, Tony, you might want to tweak the ad costs in the 1993, 1997, and 2000 scenarios...it costs $559,060 to run a TV ad nationally in the 2006 scenario but $1,110,012 to run the same ad in the 2000 scenario and $955,040 in the 1993 scenario, while all parties have far less funding in the pre-2004 scenarios. There are no radio or newspaper ads in these scenarios, either...which makes running a campaign somewhat odd when compared with the 2004/6 scenarios.

Hi Taft,

Thanks for the feedback on the ad costs between scenarios - it's noted.

Hi Brianappel,

We'll be issuing an update with the finalized candidates when they are released - which I believe is January 5th.

Sincerely,

Anthony Burgoyne
