MattyN
Wow...that's awesome. I don't know how you do it, I know I've never been able to do that well as Perot. I'm definately impressed. ::claps:: Bravo What would you suggest to do for a fledgeling politico like myself, oh wise one?

I want to precise that I did not change anything to the original scenario (money) a good ads campaign where needed but I did a very selective campaign, and apparently it worked ! my latest game : there I used another strategy which apparently brought me to a (relative) triumph ! Perot is the candidate who won the biggest number of states, and more electoral votes than Bush ! nearly 29% for my score (not much more than only 8 points less than Clinton) my very best game as Perot ! maybe the candidate I prefer to play as in all the game ! mischaDC
Another fun challenge is the 1912 election scenario with Eugene V. Debs. That's a terrific one, I managed to win the electoral college after a few tries. All 4 candidates got +20% of the popular vote, and all got over 100 electoral votes. I was 3rd in the popular vote (TR won with 25%,) but managed to win New York and enough key states to take a plurality in the electoral college. Sadly, it went to congress and they handed it to Woody Wilson instead of my Socialist Party candidate.... Tom
We'll see if this works. but it's my grand victory as Debs... (in case you can't see very easily I had 26% of popular and an impressive (if I do say so myself) 206 electoral votes- by far more than any other candidate. and here we have Pero. 29% of popular but 189 electoral! broadwayboy87
Last night I managed to win the election! I swear I didn't cheat! I was able to get cash bonuses from all 4 endorsers, which gave me enough to finance a really successful smear campaign against Clinton and Bush (sorry Bill, I think your great... George, you deserved it!)!!!!!!!!
Hardrightconservative
Sorry! The American people support Bush because he will protect them from terror and not weaken us internationally like Carter and Clinton did. We have deficits because the Democrat administrations of this past century have left the United States weak and vulnerable to attack. We had to go into debt to correct their errors and failed leadership. I am thankful everyday that President Bush was in power during 9/11 and not Al Gore. There is an idiot for you! Tom
WOAH WOAH WOAH! OK I'm going to let the Carter one go because although I don't think he was the worst, I'm not a huge fan. But Hoover! Now I have to step in. Why do you think Hoover was the worst president?! "Unlike the Presidents before him Hoover was not a Professional Politician or a Military Hero. He gained national recognition for his work as a Humanitarian. At the break of World War I he was asked to serve as head for the Commission for the Relief of Belgium. Which provided food for many people whom were victims of the war in that country. Afterwards he was appointed U.S. Food Administrator. And served as Secretary of Commerce under Presidents Harding and Coolidge." As far as the whole Great Depression thing- Hoover didn't cause it or anything ridiculous like that. It had to do with speculation and circumstances that had been building up for a decade. And when it happened, Hoover took revolutionary steps. True they might not have been as radical as some of the New Deal but that's because of his belief in the American individualism to overcome obstacles through ones strength and merit. And what he did do was unheard of- the RFC for example was quite revolutionary. OK so not everything he did work but do you think FDR's shit worked well? Half of the stuff he tried was a misserable failure but he kept passing stuff till he found something that worked. The US stayed in the Great Depression throughout FDR's first two terms and only really pulled out because of World War II. Hoover was revolutionary without betraying his ideals of personal perseverance.
Kerry Edwards for President
Carter, right behind Hoover, is the worst President the American people have ever had to put up with. What about Harding, Grant, Bushes 41 and 43, Reagan, and Buchanan. In this order: 1.(Tie) Harding and Bush 43 2.Grant 3.Reagan 4.Buchanan 5 Bush
