Changing the polling time is awesome. It really makes election night more exciting. I should do this for the 2000 and 2004 elections, and base them on the time the states were called rather than when the polls closed. Ugh for 2000 though Ill have to improvise since some of the states were called way too early, even those that ended up not changing.

Anyone ever notice how early PA is usually called?

Maybe in general there should be a weighting of the polling times according to how close the contest is.

For example, if the margin is more than 10%, there is no delay. If it is 5-10%, it is delayed 1 hour, and one more hour for each percentage closer, so it takes 6 extra hours to call an election if the margin is less than 1%.
