Hardrightconservative
The first scenarios I ever made were of the four main Canadian Parties competing in the U.S. Election 2004. It won't take much work to revamp it with Saskguy's new map and logos. Its actually a rather fun scenario. I have two versions: Pre-Merger and post-merger Parties: Canadian Alliance Liberal NDP Progressive Conservative Its purely hypothetical but its challenging and full of surprises. If anyone has some advice please let me know. Liberal Republicans and right-leaning Democrats swing to the PCs. Greens and left-wing Democrats - NDP and most Republicans go Canadian Alliance. The Democrats that don't go to the NDP or PCs will be Liberals. I can also add people to this scenario for the fun of it. Please post your picture/bio and issues preferences (Issues just like US 2004) I will send it out once it is complete if anyone is interested. Thoughts? Swing Voter
Make things more balenced. With your present discription it sounds like only one part really has a chance. That's my take.

Actually the PCs do very well. The South and the West is pretty solid Canadian Alliance. New Hampshire, and the Industrial midwest PC. Liberals, NDP and the3 PCs battle for New England, and the west coast. What would you cahnge. I am certainly open to suggestions.
Swing Voter
The southwest is not on the par of Conservative you may think it is. NM, CO, NV, AZ, all could go PC or even Lib, same for the Dakota’s Montana Wyoming which are mainly just libertarian.
CapA2040
I think it'd be more like this: New England: Battleground. The Liberals (first), the PCs, and the NDP could all do very well here. I don't really see the CA making any gains. New Hampshire could be a swing state, but I see it either as Liberal or PC. Midwest: Again, battleground. The PCs and the Liberals would probably have a round or two in this region, with the CA in third and the NDP a weak fourth. Plains: Probably PC and CA tie, with Libs and NDP in third and fourth. South: This is where the CA is the strongest; social and economic conservatives. The PCs would be second with the Libs and the NDP a weak third and fourth. Southwest (Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada): Really, a swing area. I could see any party (minus the NDP) making a solid gain here. Dems and Repubs have both won their states recently, so anything goes. West Coast: California, Washington, and Oregon mainly. They' probably be solidly Liberal with the NDP, PC, and CA trailing in that order. West (Wyoming, Montana, Idaho): Probably CA solid. PCs, Liberals, and NDP trail in that order. I'm not being mean to the NDP, but we just aren't to fond of socialists down here.

Thanks for the input CAP and you to Swing!

Swing Voter
I’ll provide an alternative to KE’s list, mainly because I lived in Oregon and I don’t want them stuck with McKay (plus the fact that he could not get elected there): Anne McLellan - Texas Paul Martin- Michigan 9I’m not sure why, but I agree with KE here, although Illinois would be good as well) Jean Chretien- New York (It fits, or so it seems) Stephen Harper- Arizona (Semi-conservative, solid but not to big) Stockwell Day- Idaho (If it’s not Mormon, and really right wing it’s from Idaho) Jack Layton- Massachusetts (No change, it fits like a glove) Bill Blaikie- Minnesota 9Left-wing legacy state, largely working class, good match) Belinda Stronach- California (Ontario is your biggest state, California ours, plus more moderate than NY) Peter MacKay- New Hampshire (Moderate state, North East, match made in heaven) Joe Clark- Kansas (Came from Alberta, makes sense to have him from a right win state)
Hardrightconservative
Thanks you guys! Those ideas are great! I wanted McLellan in Texas because she seems to beat the odds in solidly Conservative states. Thats cool! Thanks alot guys! I will also throw in some American candidates for the fun of it. Giulianai and Schwarzenegger would be good fits for the PCs Frist Santorum, Bush (Jeb and Geroge W.) - CA Liberals - Ted kennedy - Kerry, Edwards, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton NDP - Sharpton, Kucinich, Nader What about Dean, Wesley Clark, Mitt Romney and any others you can think of? I was thinking of making Wesley Clark a PC.
CapA2040
I was thinking of making Wesley Clark a PC. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I can see that. I think Evan Bayh would fit under that too. Maybe add John Edwards, although I don't know if he'd be PC or Lib.
