Has anyone spotted any new version tips for unseating the leading candidate in primaries on PI2020? It is much more of a challenge now (very enjoyable but challenging).

The strategy I used before was Debate Skill/Issue Familiarity-that dominated debates and gave me enough of a lead nationwide to win big. Does that not work anymore?

It doesn't appear to help if there are a lot of candidates enabled, everyone seems to neutralize each other .

When less are running, it is easier to get a foothold.

i think spamming rallies is the best tip to win an election (at the very least), especially at high-momentum areas, but be careful about your candidate's stamina, as they could be exhausted immediately at 3 rallies only.

other tips i'd think is to get some endorsements (not immediately, you're going to drain your momentum early into the campaign), and as Supreme Incompetent Leader said and i quote:

it does work too if the campaign you're using has debates; though you can use interviews as an alternative to none (at a lesser extent). but you need to mix spamming those rallies, winning debates or having positive interviews, and getting at least endorsements to gain momentum. again, don't drain your momentum too early. wait for the right time at the very least.
