I'll post news about the next update here.

I'm currently expanding the Editor. There is a lot of work to be done, so it will probably be spread out over several relatively minor updates to President Infinity 2021.

Endoser surrogate images!

News shows that only show up on certain days of the week.

Fox News Sunday would be pretty weird to show up on Monday lol.

That's about all that I remember recommending in the past.

Not doing those yet! Keep reminding me! 😀

@Anthony_270, some possible ideas:

1) When editing a campaign, wouldn't it be nice to be able to transport a candidate from one party to another?

2) Shouldn't there be more events for 2020?

3) Have you added other VP candidates (like Keisha Lance Bottoms, etc.?)

4) John Anderson (Ind. 1980) starts at 0% and does not improve when one starts at the primaries.

Editor Relations Screen will look at bit different in President Infinity 2021. I found the Editor Relations Screen a bit confusing in Classic.

Yes it was super confusing😭

@Anthony_270

Very impressed with the latest release it feels very stable running the official 2020 general election campaign and the processing speed is remaining constant throughout (no memory leaks) and save/load is working.

A few ideas for future updates could be;

  • Automatically deleting ads that have run max turns
  • State calls on election night
  • Text size on the issue list pop-ups/scenario pop-up looks a little large and cuts of some of the text

The polling feature feels very immersive also, giving a nice of fog-of-war effect in less polled states.

Thanks very much for this feedback. That's a funny effect happening with the lists - probably something to do with different resolution settings.

Automatically deleting ads is a good idea - noted.

The automatic ads being deleted is a very good idea!

Are you changing displays part way through playing a game by any chance?

If not, can you tell me the resolution setting for your display?

Hi,

I'm keeping the same resolution throughout only using the maximise screen on the main menu. My resolution is 1366 x 768.

The Editor Relations Screen is now more straightforward.

The first drop-down controls whether you are setting Party relations or Leader relations.

The second drop-down controls which party you are setting relations for (or which leader if Leaders is selected in the first drop-down).

Then the sliders allow you to modify the relations.

The relations are symmetrical, as in Classic, so if you set a relation for 'Democratic' while 'republican' is selected, it will modify the corresponding value if 'democratic' is selected in the drop-down.

Have a good weekend everyone!

State calls on election night sounds like a good idea. The original President Forever 2004 seems to have such a system.
