State of the Race: 18 Days Left

Day 18 poll

  1. 1. See the Data in the First Post: Who do you think wins if the election were today?

  2. 2. Polling shows only 7 competitive states (within +5 margin on average) -- all which are Lean R states (FL, AZ, NC, GA, TX, IA, OH). Why do you think this is?

    • The American people are clearly opposed to Trump putting Trump's campaign firmly on the defense.
    • The polls have a huge Democratic bias.
    • This is bullshit propaganda. The era of scientific polling is over.

    • Polls might not be biased, and may still be scientific, but polling is flawed. It's having issues getting accurate information.
  3. 3. Justice Barrett will be confirmed next week. Will her confirmation matter in the election?

    • Yes, it will be crucial into ramping up the anti-Trump coalition and ensuring their victory.
    • Yes, it will be crucial in swinging support for Trump and ensuring his victory.
    • It won't really matter.
  4. 4. Who wins the SC US Senate Race?

    • Sen. Lindsay Graham - R
    • Sen. Jaime Harrison - D
  5. 5. If Trump wins reelection, do you expect his 2nd term to be about as chaotic as his first term?

    • It will be more chaotic
    • It will be as chaotic
    • It will be less chaotic but still chaotic
    • I don't think it was chaotic and I don't think it will be next term.
      0
    • It won't be chaotic at all.

You are very difficult to listen to.

I honestly think if he gets re-elected (2% chance) he completely moderates himself and becomes a "normal" president.

This has been one of the most boring presidential campaigns.  The most interesting thing during this time has been @pattine gettigetting banned

The electoral process has nothing to do with Twitter.  We've actually been having elections all along, even before Twitter was invented.

its amazing the lengths democrats will go to avoid responsibility. just own it! it's corrupt, but if Biden wins don't act like it wasn't rigged for him from the start.

The media, big tech, the debate commission, all against Trump.

What a fucking joke.

If this happened to Democrats there would be riots in the street 24/7

You are very difficult to listen to.

Maybe counter one of my points then and we can have a discussion instead then. I stand by everything I wrote in that post, it's rather obvious to see if you're looking at things objectively.

If not I'll refrain from responding to your ^ post in a different manner

So If Trump wins the election its rigged

If Trump loses the election its rigged

lol lol lol

This is how Trump would like it viewed. Regardless a rigged or faulty or whatever election would go to the courts. a de-legitimized election is a win for Trump regardless if he gets another four years or not.

Well of course it is! It's rigged in favour of a duopoly! That's what Pat always says!

As far as polls go, there are only 7 competitive states

Makes sense.  Trump only flipped six states in 2016 (Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin) while Clinton didn't flip any.

Kamala Harris is off in-person campaigning through Sunday, per campaign.

Yeah. A couple near her tested positive so makes sense.

The recent news surrounding Biden definitely sours my opinion of him. Still, I don’t anticipate it swaying enough people to change the outcome of the election. I might be proven wrong, however, depending on if any new revelations come to light.

My favorite thing about Twitter reserving its rights as a private corporation is it turns "conservatives" into socialists like *that*. Looking at you Josh Hawley and Tom Cotton you jokers.

Our saving grace is that Trump is both old and unhealthy.

Old, yes; unhealthy, no. Given how fast he recovered, I don't think he contracted CoViD at all - he just said he did to get a little sympathy!

He gets the best medicine and care in the world.

I have no doubt he used it to get sympathy. I do not doubt that he had covid. In fact he could still technically be carrying it. They dubbed him the super spreader for a reason.

Not quite true. According to a top-level health care access and coverage report, the King of Saudi Arabia, the Emirs of Abu Dhabi and Dubai (both in the UAE), the Princes of Lichtenstein and Monaco, Queen Elizabeth II and her inner family, Pope Francis, and a number of billionaires (largely in Silicon Valley) rank higher than the President of the United States.
