Here's how Dems have done in the 21st century. Spokane really didn't like John Kerry or really liked Bush after 4 years. The most populous county keeps getting bluer. I predict Biden does well in Clark County. : King 50 40 42 31 26 Pierce 7 11 12 3 8 Snohomish 17 16 18 7 8 Spokane -9 -6 1 -12 -9 Clark 0 0 6 -5 -4 WA Totals 16 15 17 7 5 Here's who WA has supported since 2008 for Pres, Gov, Sen, US Reps. The darker the color, the more support. They gained a house seat in 2012. Despite the blue-ness of the state the GOP party is still very much a live. The 2018 Blue Wave saw two of their 4 remaining members under threat. Schrier barely hung on, and McMorris Rodgers was threatened with a defeat. I do expect the state to trend Blue as it keeps increasing in population. : 2008 2010 2012 2014 2016 2018 Obama Obama Obama Obama Clinton Clinton Gregoire Gregoire Inslee Inslee Inslee Inslee Murray Murray Murray Murray Murray Murray Cantwell Cantwell Cantwell Cantwell Cantwell Cantwell Inslee Inslee DelBene DelBene DelBene DelBene Larsen Larsen Larsen Larsen Larsen Larsen Baird Herrera Herrera Herrera Herrera Herrera Hastings Hastings Hastings Newhouse Newhouse Newhouse McMorris Rodgers McMorris Rodgers McMorris Rodgers McMorris Rodgers McMorris Rodgers McMorris Rodgers Dicks Dicks Kilmer Kilmer Kilmer Kilmer McDermott McDermott McDermott McDermott Jayapal Jayapal Reichert Reichert Reichert Reichert Reichert Schrier Smith Smith Smith Smith Smith Smith n/a n/a Heck Heck Heck Heck
Conservative Elector 2 333
I'd say since the events surrounding CHAZ there is a slight chance Washington might be in play. The eastern part of the state was always very conservative. Same goes for Oregon.
pilight 237
Washington has gone Democratic in each of the last eight presidential elections. It last went Republican in 1984.

I'm fairly certain that the part of the state that is getting much more numerous in population is the Western part of the state, which would suggest the state is like to become Bluer. The Eastern part might become bluer once their small towns develop into larger towns and into small cities.

Reagan04 658
@vcczar Kim Schrier is a Democrat, the GOP actually barely lost WA-8 in the 2018 midterm.
