Kerry Edwards for President
I am making a 2016 scenario. Can anyone think of any candidates or issues there may be? Just so you know, these are the candidates I have now: Republican-Rick Santourum-Jesse Ventura Democratic- Barack Obama- Tom Dashle Independent- Ronald Reagan J.R- Arlen Specter Constitution- Alan Keyes- Michael Peroutka
MattyN
Possible other candidate ideas: Republican - George Pataki, Mitt Romney, Arnold Schwarzenegger (ala Constitutional Amendment), Michael Reagan Democrat - Hillary R. Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Ronald Reagan Jr. (why not) Independent - Angus King (former governor of Maine) Hope you like the ideas...

I am probably going to change his running mate to Governor Angus King. Senator Hillary Clinton is now on my list of Democratic candidates along with: Governor Al Sharpton (New York) Senator Barack Obama (Illinois) Senator Hillary Clinton (New York) Vice President Wesley Clark (Arkansas) Governor Mark Warner Those Republican candidates will be added except for Arnold. These are who I have now: Senator Bill Frist (Tennesse) Senator Rick Santourum (Pennsylvania) Governor Tom Ridge (Pennsylvania) Senator John McCain (Arizona)

FrenchFisher
Sorry to say Jesse would not join the Republicans... especially under the evilness that is Santorum He'd probably be more likely to run as an Independent. Besides, what credentials does he have in 2016? 'I was Governor of Minnesota 14 years ago!'
Kerry Edwards for President
Sorry to say Jesse would not join the Republicans... especially under the evilness that is Santorum You're right. I'll change it to Bill Frist.

keyzersoze13
Independant: I'd add Ralph Nader too, that guy will never learn his lesson. Democrats: You've got all my favorites (A ticket involving Wesley Clark and Barack Obama would be a dream), but I'd add Dean and Gephardt too. Constitution: Roy Moore could run. Republicans: They look like the usuals, but I'd add Jeb Bush too.
MattyN
Gephardt would be fun to add into the primaries....how many times has that man run for the Democratic nod?

But Clark IS the Vice Presidential candidate with Obama! And Dean and Gephardt will also be included. Thank you!
npm32
Some of the people you're mentioning are going to be awfully old in 2016...Nader will be 82 assuming he's still alive!
Hardrightconservative
Nader can always be remade into a cyborg and run in that Cowboy Bebop scenario. LOL
broadwayboy87
I've been working on a 2016 for a while and even though I'm not Green Party (I'm dem. GO KERRY!) the basis of the scenario is what if we had a major flood due to icecaps melting? I have certain states wiped off the map and most costal states have totally new geography. I put Chelsea Clinton and Obama as Dems. Jeb bush as Rep, Wynona LaDuke as Green and John Edwards and Bill Richardson as Independent's. I'm still working on it and I hope to have it done by the next posting of scenarios.
broadwayboy87
Also, you need to look carefully at your candidates. If this is 2016 and John McCain (born 1936) is running, he would be 80 years old. When going that far ahead you need to factor in how many politicians of today will be retired in the next few years. Yoyo
Not sure if you're still here, but add Badnarik as an Independent. He's only 52 years old.
alex xauw
i thkn there's no way Gephardt or Daschle or McCain could be relevent in 2016 (nor Chelsea Clinton for that matter). Is Clark considered the sitting VP? (as that could be very likely)
