Influence (4): Baker isn't biting.

Rally (10!): The Casework works wonders for Case! The campaign is rejuvenated as the Senator's popularity bounces back up in New Jersey.

Rally (4): A below average rally that fails to pack a bunch.

Overall: +5. Senator Case bails Rockefeller out of a lackluster week with an innovative idea that helps the campaign significantly in New Jersey.

Nixon holds a rally in Newark, New Jersey, with John Lindsay.

Endorsement (2): Tower helps Nixon in Texas, but he seems out of his depth in California and the voters are bored by his presence, not understanding what he's doing there. They've never even heard of him.

Endorsement (4): Kirk gives a decent speech which appeals to moderate and liberal voters.

Influence (9): Strong performance!

Influence (4): Not as strong but it's an overall gain for Nixon this week with the Eisenhowerians.

Rally (3): Lindsay isn't as well received across the river as he is at home.

Nixon: +6. The endorsements of powerhouses Tower and Kirk give him major news coverage about Nixon's growing hold of the establishment, particularly in Texas and Florida.

1/5/4

Overall: -5. Lynch avoids the worst possible damage but certainly gets his message lost among the national noise. He loses some ground.
