Cool. I'd play as Tom Cotton.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) announces his bid for President of the United States in Charleston, South Carolina

"Hello South Carolina! It's great to be with y'all here today. I was born right here in Charleston, South Carolina on the deathbed of Jim Crow. As the Civil Rights movement reached its apex my mother was giving birth to one of her many rowdy children. Life was not easy for us. My dad left when I was 7 and had it not been for my mother I scarcely would have made it through High School. But my mother wanted better for her children. You see, my mom knew that America was a land of opportunity and that even though if you looked like us you had to work twice as hard, the reward for working twice as hard was better than any where else in the world. I owe my mother everything. I owe to her as much as I owe the great people of South Carolina. You see, I was born just down the street at Charleston General Hospital. Today, as we look out over the beautiful port of Charleston just a few hundred yards from the place of my birth, I can't help but think of my ancestors who were brought in chains through this very port and held as slaves in South Carolina. I can't help but think of their journey as captives to a strange new land and how terrified they must have been but how steeled their resolve was still to protect their family. It's hard to imagine now, but the son of those slaves, born right here in Charleston, is now standing proudly atop the Port of Charleston as the first black man elected to the Senate from the state of South Carolina. My story is like so many others because only in America can over the course of a couple decades a family go from sharecropper to Congressman and from slave to Senator. I owe this country and my mother for making that happen."

"But I also owe the people of South Carolina a great deal. I owe the people I represent proper representation and a fighting voice in Washington. This country that I love and which has given me everything is broken. At the highest levels of government the constitution is ignored and at all levels of law enforcment equal protection is discarded. Even now in 2024, we fail to live up to that goal of all men being created equal. And yet, with each passing year we strive closer. This is what makes America great. Our nation is an experiment in endless self-refinement. We are a nation built on the idea that hard work begets reward. We are built on the capitalist and enlightened principle that there is nothing a free man or woman cannot accomplish with grit and opportunity. The American people have grit in spades, it's up to us to ensure the opportunity is there for the taking."

"We all know that taxes are too high. We all know that government is too big" We all know that be it people of color, immigrants, or the unborn we don't do nearly enough to defend the defenseless and protect the unprotected. This problems are big. They are institutional. They are the symptoms of years of growing racial division and oppressive government. But there is hope. Always in America, is there hope. Today, the son of slaves is ready to fight back. I'm ready to lead the charge of patriotic and courageous Americans against the predatory welfare state, against big government, against the war on drugs, against systemic racism, against crushing taxes, against the march against freedom. I'm ready to lead the vanguard of American liberty. Those dedicated to Free Markets, Individual Liberties, and Equal Protection Under the Law. It's time that those Americans who are ready that the Constitution finally be truly respected and applied to all people equally have a voice in Washington. Today, I am announcing my campaign for President of the United States of America"

"The road ahead is hard. And if history is any indication, there will be days when it seems impossible. But together, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. And together, we'll all work to build a better, freer, more just, and more decent America. God Bless you all and God Bless the United States of America!"

Scott opens up in his home state: the early state of South Carolina. He has made his pitch clear, grassroots conservatives and political libertarians are his ideological base. However, he has put a major appeal to voters of color in the way of his vociferous stands for immigration reform and against systemic racism. Only time will tell if his grand coalition will materialize.

Michael Bennet announces Presidential Run in Denver

Thank you all for coming out here today! I'm running for President, because I believe that we can pass a new agenda, supported by Americans across the nation, that will lift millions out of poverty, and into a good, middle-class life. When I served as Superintendent of Public Schools right here in this community, I saw firsthand the impoverished children of this nation, and the help that we need to give to them and to their families. And I delivered. Now, over 2 decades later, graduation rates are higher, dropout rates are lower, and the schools are in a better shape than ever before. But our work isn't over. Millions more need help, and they will get in if I am elected President. In a Bennet Administration, we would expand the child tax credit, pass Universal Pre-K, make college affordable for all, take climate change, pass paid family leave, and give quality healthcare to those who want it, without getting rid of Private Healthcare. Together, we can breathe life back into the American Dream. And I know I can win, like I have many times in a purple state. So, together let's take the fight to the Republican Party, and bring this country roaring back. Thank you!

In Bennet's speech, he appeals to more moderate voters with his pitch, emphasizing a plan that is paid for, and would help millions, and also by pitching his electability as a Senator from a purple state.

John Kasich announces bid for the Presidency at rally in Columbus, Ohio:

"Last election I made the choice to endorse Joe Biden in his race for the Presidency. I did this because I have one guiding principle in life: Doing what is right for our nation is far superior to doing what is right for the party I belong to if it means harming our nation. That is why I endorsed Joe Biden, and that is why I am standing before you today. Because I may be announcing a bid for the Republican nomination, yes, but this bid is not just for Republicans. It is for independents, libertarians, moderates, and Democrats all alike. This is not a campaign for Republicans only. This is a campaign for all Americans. Donald Trump appears to not understand the idea of running not for your party but for your nation, well, Donald, your time as President is ending, and now it's time to take not just this party but nation back from you. I am running for the Presidency of the United States. I hope to not only be a President for Republicans, but for all Americans."

Andrew Cuomo begins his opening statement at a convention center in Queens, New York.

"Ladies and Gentleman, I, Andrew Mark Cuomo, am officially announcing my candidacy for President of the United States.”

My fellow Americans, the last 8 years has been a very divisive time for this country. Never before in the 21st Century have we seen such open hostility towards certain groups, and among both sides of the aisle. I would first like to commend the efforts of Joe Biden in the 2020 election. While he came up short, I believe his efforts were just, and admirable given the circumstances and peculiar nature of that election due to the Coronavirus. Never before in the history of this country, have we seen such a divisive President, full of corruption, disrespect, and disregard. With that said, my announcement for President is a movement wanting to turn the page from this divisive era we have endured. If I am given the honor of being the Democratic Party’s Nominee… I promise you, we shall have a return to normalcy. We are going to have police reform in this country, just as I have done in New York! We are going to increase the minimum wage! We are going to ensure that the more unfortunate in our society are taken care of! While the Republicans may argue that the stock market is booming, and the economy has experienced a full recovery… it has benefited the corporations and the top 1% of our society. We still have a lot of work to do for the middle and lower classes. When I first became Governor of New York, I inherited a state belittled by corruption, a failing tax code, and a feeling of complacency throughout my state. I had huge challenges to overcome, and I got through them. We had our state budget passed on time, we balanced our budget, we worked across the aisle with the Moderate Republicans that used to be very prominent in this country, and we restructured our failing tax code. When the Coronavirus hit in early 2020, my team and I were ready to take every measure necessary to protect our fellow New Yorkers. We were one of the states that got hit the hardest, but we pulled through. With these accomplishments in mind, I believe this is the kind of leadership we need in this country. We must be Progressive, and bold in our agenda, we must work with all political sides, we must clean up the corruption, in Washington D.C. I look forward to the upcoming primaries, I look forward to debating with the candidates, and I look forward to campaigning with you, the American people. Thank you for your time and I promise you, together, America shall have a return to normalcy.”

Cuomo intends to run a strong, Liberal campaign. While emphasizing his well regarded leadership ability, he intends on especially emphasizing his Progressive record as Governor of New York in hopes to appeal to that wing of the party. However, Cuomo will also solidify his trust with his connections in the Mainstream of the Democratic Party in hopes to keep the Establishment from bolting to other candidates.

Turnout:Die Rolls 4!Slightly below average for campaign announcements,a bit of disappointing for Cuomo, the expected frontrunner!

Speech Reaction:Die Rolls 3!Cuomo's speech fails to impress!

Key Base:Die Rolls 5!Cuomo's announcement left an impression only on Cuomo's core base but didn't expand it at all.

Overall:4/10!Not a great start for expected frontrunner, but not terrible one either.

I was born here in rural Arkansas and I've never imagined to serve country twice, because the Washington politicians tend to overlook the America which has served as the nation's backbone. In fact they are making of hardworking people like you, because it's much more comfortable to serve in Washington instead of working for their own constituents. That's why I want to do better and I feel the need to serve our nation. I served our country first when I was in the military in Iraq and now I serve the great people of my home state of Arkansas in the United States Senate ensuring our Republican values are still lived and embraced today. This party was founded on the principles of freedom and I am proud to call the party of President Abraham Lincoln my home. I believe it is our duty to improve the life of all Americans, not just those who ignore our interests because of their own moral compass. Today the voices of many unheard finally need to be heard. We need the support of you to overcome the issues America is facing today. Therefore I am declaring today before you and the eyes of God, that I am a candidate for president of the United States. I want to build a coalition of all those who believe in a better, fair and just America, an America which builds bridges instead of damaging them by policies which cripple our economy and our low and middle class, an America which has not reached it's destination yet. We can do better by believing in both heavenly guidance and the development of new technologies, which will bring us beyond new frontiers. We can represent people of color after failing to do so for years. We can give people hope by targeting the issues which most Americans are concerned about and we can improve our justice system by appointing justices who are willing to upheld our Constitution instead of dishonoring it every day. I can only ask you for two things: Your trust and your vote. One America for all, that's what I am offering and that's what I am running for. Thank you and God bless you."
