Kaiserreich USA 1936 RP?

Recommended Posts

Kaiserriech is a Hoi4 mod where Germany wins WW1. In it, the USA collapses into civil war after the election of 1936 due to catastrophic economic and political hardship. I’m considering doing a RP where people try to either win the election, or prevent a civil war (or cause it if you are into that). Would you be interested in a such a RP?

Factions:

SSA: Basically a socialist party. They have a death grip over the Steel Belt, and are expanding into New England.

AFP: A nationalist party based around a Huey Long personality cult. Strong in the Deep South, especially Louisiana.

Democrats: Led by John nance Gardner and Champ Clark, they mostly run the Midwest.

Republicans: Led by Alf Landon (Hoover leads at the start but can’t run for a 3rd term). The current president is a republican, and his two terms have seen colossal disaster. As a result, the republicans are in the single digits. Only leading in parts of New England.

National Unity: A party that can form if dems and republicans agree to merge. Led by Floyd Olson, they are strong in the west coast to Midwest, New England, and DC area.

One person can choose to play as Herbert Hoover, the current president. He will make decisions to try and solve the economic crisis, and whether he succeeds or fails will have a huge impact on the popularity of each party. After the election, players can choose to compromise or launch a civil war. The result will be determined by how strong each party is.

Attached is a rough approximation of the political situation at the start of 1936, when the RP would begin.

I've never actually played the computer game this is based on.

Olsen isn’t a guarantee at the start. Dems and republicans have to agree to merge for him to be candidate. If they merge, both players share Olson. (Or one plays his VP idk).

Even better. Some shocking events happen in the lead up to the election in game.

I'm not entirely sure how this works but have enjoyed Kaiserreich in the past and would be up for giving the Democrats a go.

Edit: That said I'm UK based so if that would slow it down too much I'm happy to sit it out.
