Hardrightconservative 5
ELECTION DAY http://host203.ipowerweb.com/~election/ Its actaully not a bad political simulation and contains some pretty good gameplay options that should be incorporated into President Forever. Please list them here and discuss.
Dennis Kussinich 08 23
is the game free to download?
Hardrightconservative 5
Yes it is. Its not as good as President Forever but learning from other programs to improve President Forever might be agood idea.
Dennis Kussinich 08 23
i read the preview and it sounded interesting thanks for the recomediation HRC
Dennis Kussinich 08 23
whell defanatly the local elections in electionday is a good feature that would be good in P4E
Bane 0
I'm downloading it now, HRC. It seems to have a totally different focus than P4E, therefore I have no qualms with playing it. Looks like fun, actually. I've always wanted to try out different levels of government situations.
Dennis Kussinich 08 23
how do i download it?
Hardrightconservative 5
Register and downlaod the latest version.
sarnstrom54014 1
HRC, would you mind posting a few screenshots of Election Day for me.
Bane 0
Well, I tried it. It has some great elements, but the clunky interface and the fact that it crashes so often really discouraged me from playing it.
Myke 1
I used to play it, but it keeps crashing, which bothers me a lot. Furthermore, there's a lot of interface glitches (things like letting you select options that are incompatible, and having the program crash without warning, or the fact that everything's the same ugly grey colour, or the fact that the only graphics are both overused and static, or the fact that the sound effects get annoying after awhile, or...) Local elections are cool, but, come on, you think there's a market for local election simulators?

It doesn't freeze and runs alot smoother.

MrCancer1981 0
I too have played this game. Damn great game, problem is that it's insanely buggy. I'm going to start doing some bug-smashing for the program lead, John Gastil, next month, but this is a damn good, in-depth sim. Problem is, I haven't gotten through a single election without this thing crashing.
MattyN 2
Yea, I know how that is. It's fun, but buggy as hell. I've found an odd one where I boost my popularity with an event...and the other character gets boosted. THEN when it came to the debates, I was controling the other character instead of the one I selected, (who happened to be me).

SSVegeta123243 1
it's a good game i think it's a little over complex and could use a little more organization but it has terrific details and features that should be added to p4ever i love the focusing on certain issues and reaching out to key democraphics
Hardrightconservative 5
I agree Vegeta. I like how you can target certain demographics and have lots of attributes fro the candidates!
Bane 0
I just won the mayorship in Provo, Utah with a gay pro-choice Democrat.

SSVegeta123243 1
the game is very detailed u focus on every aspect of a real political game but as i said it's unorganized (and yes it does crash too much especially on local eletions) i think p4ever should use your ability to focus on certain demographics and certain issue another problem is realism during one campaign i lost both california and new york to bush and i won mississippi and virginia
Kerry08 0
I have just started downloding it to my computer it looks fun
