Guest
How do you guys feel about this. Once I get the data from the Board of Elections (about 2 weeks) I'll have the numbers to finish this scenario. Would you guys be interested in this? Right now the Caban campaign is contesting 2500 provisional ballots https://nypost.com/2019/07/04/queens-da-race-heats-up-as-tiffany-caban-eyes-rejected-provisional-ballots/

I'd prefer you did something with a bit of scope - like a whole nation, or an autonomous or mostly self-governing first-tier administrative national subdivision or external dependency, at least. This election has attracted national attention. The Democratic socialists are big fans of Caban.
Guest
I found this fascinating list on Cityand State of endorsers https://www.cityandstateny.com/articles/politics/campaigns-elections/endorsements-queens-district-attorney-candidates.html

I still find it too small-stakes and parochial for my taste. And I'm willing to bet you wouldn't show any interest, and would criticize the relevance and significance of, a by-election in rural Alberta if I hypothetically did one, even if it was a major litmus political test or political balancing point election, that attracted major attention Federally in Canada. I wouldn't consider that insignificant and I don't remember criticizing your campaign choices

Patine
Anyways, all humour aside, I propose a truce on criticizing relevance of each others' scenarios and save criticism for things like mechanical set-up, portrayal of candidates, parties, issues, etc., possible biases, etc., and to make them constructive as criticism. I think playing small elections in this game is interesting because you can kind of test the more objective, data-driven waters of local elections that often go by the wayside in favor of personalities, familial relationships, and social connections in local (esp small town) elections. If that were the case, I - personally, in my own viewpoint - would prefer to deal with a more autonomous and self-governing locality of such figures, like a Northern Mariana Islands, Isles of Scilly, Canary Islands, or Bermuda, or other similar polity, scenario, from my own personal taste. Of course, I fully admit, that is an opinion and personal bias.
