willpaddyg
Hi everyone, I've attached a 1972 federal election that I've made - it's 99% done and works well if I do say so myself. Only thing really missing is issues - any help from anyone with more knowledge than me of that era's issues would be great! Hope you all enjoy! TheLiberalKitten
I'll take a look at it and give you feedback
TheLiberalKitten
The scenario looks really good. I would add events just for fun but overall it looks really good.
darkmoon72
I like this scenario a lot, and have played through it a couple times already. Nicely done! Some ideas for issues: Economy (seems to be top priority in this campaign) Bilingualism Unemployment Environment Inflation Foreign Ownership Taxes Old Age Security Payments Monetary System Free Trade Eventually I will get around to issue positions and descriptions, when I have more time. Canada - 1972.zip Are the Rhinos and the Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada in it? I think that was the first actual ballot appearance in a Federal Election by either of them. And it was after the 1968 electoral law that barred candidates from using any label they wanted on a ballot as though it were a party label, even if it was not a registered party. There were a lot of arbitrary, confusing, and even bizarre electoral labels for candidates for Federal Elections prior to 1968. But the Rhinos and the Marxist-Leninists were actually PARTIES. At the moment, no. Roch LaSalle is under the Independent banner, and Lucien Lamoureux is the Speaker candidate. Apart from them, so far it's just Liberals, PC, NDP and Social Credit.
