Democraticalltheway
I am trying to make a scenario with 3 equal parties and one 1 - 5% candidate. It wont do this. 2 candidates get below 15% and 2 candidates get 30 to 40% of the vote. I want to set it up to get 33% for all 3 candidates starting out and it wont work. simonvallee
Are some parties really radical and/or have poor leaders compared to others? These have impacts on starting support and if one party is like that, then it will be much weaker than the others.
Democraticalltheway
All of the candidates have equal attributes across the board and ive tried everything i can think of in the electoral trends file to get it to equal out to an equal percentage at the beginning of the game. And no none of the parties are radical.

MattyN
2 things to check: Power of the "party," set all of them equal, preferably to 5 unless there is a notably weaker candidate Candidate loyalty
Democraticalltheway
All the parties are set equally... It amazes me how it should work one way but refuses to.
