@NYrepublican @Patine Hello folks, while I was not active here for quite some time, I have been quietly been working on a September 2019 scenario and a post election update for April 2019. I think the new scenario will be ready around August 1st when the party submission deadline is met

Are you going to switch to using K4E to have the election simulation and scenario make more sense in play?

Nope, as even K4E can't really do the election any justice afaik, I'll use a refined version of the system I have above (also imo I think it's better since it can better demonstrate scattered demographics even if it used the region based system of PMI) @Patine

I think K4E COULD do it FAR better, myself. I feel that anything done with PI and PMI would be a clumsy, broken, and highly inaccurate that would lead to far less satisfying games, as far as I saw things. Like @victorraiders very poorly Hungary 2018 scenario - because he was doing an MMP election by flat-out, unaltered PMI. I'm sorry, but that's how I feel about the game mechanics issue, at least.

While I'm trying to figure out K4E, I have completed my PMI Israel Sept. 2019 scenario,

parties:

Likud (Kulanu got merged into it)
Blue and White (no changes)
Avodah-Gesher (Labour + Gesher)
Yisrael Beitenu (no changes)
Democratic Union (Meretz + Green Movement + Democratic Israel)
United Right (New Right + Union of Right Wing Parties)
Shas (no changes)
Joint List (Hadash-Ta'al + Ra'am Balad)
UTJ (no changes)
Zehut (no changes)

(I may add Otzma Yehudit and Noam in future versions)

added surrogates to each party (Likud and B&W have six each!)

rebalanced the game a bit
gave almost everyone fancy new pictures

I will upload the scenario to 270soft Campaigns shortly

I can't guarantee having a good look at it before Wednesday, but I'll see. RL can be quite demanding...

Another update, not too much changed, some more rebalancing and I added some alternate history parties based on past speculations and rumours made about the election

the new alternate history parties are

Yesh Atid-Yisrael Beitenu (https://www.timesofisrael.com/yesh-atid-members-planned-to-bolt-blue-and-white-for-joint-run-with-liberman/)

Zionist Union (basically all the leftist parties except the Joint List)

Yamina but with Zehut and Otzma Yehudit

Hosen-Telem (Blue and White but without Yesh Atid and also more center-right)

After many tries, I won the April 2019 election as Gantz, obtaining a bare majority of 62.

The Likud party lost every seat, which was essentially my strategy - target all of Netanyahu's seats, clean up in the Centrist and Swing areas, and maybe get a couple of Russian seats (I got 1) to get to 61.  I didn't even bother with any other region - Kachol Lavan was way too far behind in any other part of the country to do anything other than play spoiler.

I mostly ran negative ads against Netanyahu, at least one a week (one total against Feiglin), and I generally kept the spinning to just Gantz and Netanyahu, unless neither of them made the headlines.  The huge war chest also helped.
