I was playing my Halliston Municipal scenario once, so it doesn't really count, but I tied the Centrist party in Minor Islands for both seats in %... I came out 251 votes ahead for the region, though, so I won both, and the game :D

i've won the popular vote by 5+ million and still lost electorally

last time was playing Red Dawn as Mary Landriue - thumped McCain by almost 6 million votes, but he sqeaked Minnesote by 500 or so and won the EV

errrrr

The sad thing is, this scenario is a very realistic one IRL and ppl support the EC regardless.

I hate the E.C. and I hate FPTP.

The only system that's shittier is Hong Kong's, because the CCP and corporate interests pack the legislature with pro-China rightists (You'd have to understand my politics and the way I analyse East Asia to understand why I see theCCP and its allies as being the political right.) against the Democratic will of the people, who only elect half the legislature but voted in liberal and socialist anti-China parties in a landslide, in spite of massive vote fraud by CCP cronies and corporate thugs.

Playing Ultimate North America Here was the Breakdown:

Republican - 29% (64,523,995) - 336 EV

Democrats - 15% (34,127,351) - 25 EV

Socialists - 29% (64,364,545) - 312 EV

Progressive - 24% (53,895,217) - 110 EV

I was Bill Blaikie playing as the Socialist... now that is pretty damn close I might say... but for reason the Congress picked the progressives under Jim Printice. God Damn!!!
