I feel Trump has alienated his populist base that got him elected. I doubt that he will win another term if he carry on his current course.

What makes you say this, just curious?

Trump has been a Democrat most of his life.

The Alabama senate race is telling.  Trump is supporting the establishment Republican against the far right outsider.

So far According to Wkipedia Luther Strange is winning by 1 vote.

Very sadly we chose a RINO in the primaries.(Trump has more liberal views)

He's very much still ideologically a member of the Reform Party. He likely only ran in Republican Primaries in 2016 because the Apple-Microsoft, err, sorry, Democratic-Republican Duopoly makes it damn near impossible to win through what's tantamount to de facto, informal, insidious electoral rigging to win the White House, or most other significant offices, under any other label. The same reason I'd bet Bernie Sanders abandoned his "Independent Socialist" label to run as a Democrat.

Trump doesn't seem to have a consistent philosophy at all. He just does what he wants. That's honestly far preferable to Hillary Clinton. I knew what she would do for sure and I didn't like it so I'd be willing to take a chance with Trump in the hope that he may do what I want.

Do you plan on moving to Atlantic City, Biloxi, or Las Vegas to be a career gambler when you turn 18? :P

I'm willing to take that chance. You may not be.

Frankly, I felt the 2016 election was a loss either way and cheated the voters of a real, positive, meaningful choice. It SHOULD have triggered a positive and constructive dialogue to address deep-seated and destructive issues and flaws in American political culture that transcend partisan, ideological, demographic, and regional barriers - but SURPRISE, it didn't at all, but only exacerbated the finger-pointing, infighting, and those self-same basal problems.

@Patine And Trump just totally ignored Reagan's commandment "Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican"

I don't care about Reagan and his "Commandment." That's small potatoes compared to the issues I'm addressing. In fact, having actually lived while he was President, I don't view Reagan in the same artificially and unrealistically exalted and beatified light that many Republicans do today. He was not really the President modern GOP mythologization and revisionism make him out to be.

he isn't really followed the Nationalist Populist platform he ran on. Jarvanka is now controlling his every move, from the missile strikes, to the Alabama Senate Election endorsement. Bannon was the only one who could tell him to follow nationalist populist moves and conclusions and Bannons out.
