I've tried a few times and I hit a wall at about 2200-2300 delegates (you need 2713 to win a majority of the delegates), and since Humphrey/Johnson has the support of the favourite sons and McCarthy really dislikes Kennedy and will throw never throw his support behind him Humphrey/Johnson always win.
