Senator Forever??

Would it be possible to make a Senator forever?

Theoratically all that's needed is a single state map, split up by county, elimination of the veep, and election based on popular vote

It seems possible, maybe the variability depends more on the governor bonus and county party benefits

If we really want to get complex, what about an entire simulated election based on senate seats and the president and the forum members would run against each other......wait, i'm getting ahead of myself

Comments? Solutions?

We could get really complex and create and entire election year package

House elections - based on a single district

Senate elections - state broken up by county as stated above, still based on popular vote

maybe governor? - a little more complex with state issues and out of the scheme of the federal government thing

Of course it all culminates in the presidential elections, fit with all the new recommendations

You could have the option of playing any races or simulating them.

I am making a PA 2006 House and Gubernational elections:

House: Hart VS Heinz

Republican: Melissa Hart

Democratic: John Heinz IV

Independent: Fred Honsberger (He's a local yocal Limbaugh)

American Health Care: John B. Lambark

Governor:

Republican: Pat Toomey

Democratic: Ed Rendell

Constitution: Jim Clymer

Green: I forget who.

Also, I am making a Senate PA 2008:

Republican: Rick Santorum, or Honsberger (In my scenarios, he is like Pat Buchanan)

Democratic: Ed Rendell, our state treasurer (whoever she is), State Rep. Jim Casorio, and State Senator Allen Kukovich.

Constitution: Jim Clymer (Yes, again, he is doing it for attention to become governor in 2010)

Independent: Art Rooney, owner of the Steelers.

Governor PA 2010:

Dem: Dan Onorato

Con: Jim Clymer

Rep: Lynn Swann

American Socialist Party: A professor from the Philly college.

Yes, PM Forever is close to being able to simulate a senate race where the relevant regions are counties. It just requires some changes to how the winner is determined. However, you could simulate this by giving each county the number of 'seats' proportional to the weight of the popular vote it will have.
