@jvikings1

My chances look good.

I identify as a centrist Republican. I was courted by both parties when I tried to run initially. Democrats didnt like my economic stances so I went with the GOP.

When is the election?

Oh, you mean like the Congressional Republicans during Obama's Presidency after the 2010 Mid-Terms, when all they were interested in was obstructionism and threatening to shut down the government constantly rather than get any real governance done. Yes, I know the attitude. And remember even a few of these "respected" members of Congress actually using terms like "Communist" and "Nazi" for Obama publically (I recall you using the former term for him a couple of times on these forums), when he in no way, shape, or form resembles either, and the usage of those terms either indicates a lack of education on political science or a deliberate attempt at defamation.

They were never holding decapitated Obama heads or making jokes that could be misunderstood as calling for the assassination of Obama.

I see evidence once again (which I do so often, nowadays) that relative and comparative thinking, rhetoric, and debate is a dead dialogue with so many today, and, if a literal, direct correlation can't be made in an obvious way, the point automatically becomes moot. It's a sad state of affairs and a social degeneration. :(

well there's a difference between calling someone a socialist and holding a mock decapitated head of him like ISIS does for people it executes.

Exactly. I remember when the rodeo clown wore an Obama mask and the guy had is career ruined.  I welcome back and forth debate, as do most conservatives.  But I'm sad to say that so many in the hard left of our country are just out to vilify our President and our country and are not interested in or capable of thoughtful debate.

What I'm saying is, the hatred, venom, vitriol, and utter inability to accept each of those two given Presidents by the more extreme and vociferous members of their political opponents was just as bad in both cases, even if the recorded and verified instances that made the media were different. The mood of hostility and negativity to both was just as bad.

good enough though the openness of expressing that hate is different depending on if it's Obama or Trump.

@Patine I edited my previous post to explain what I meant.

You mentioned attempts or desires at assassination up there. I read in an article in 2013 (I wish I had bookmarked it now), that, by the point the article was written, the FBI had "quietly" arrested 32 individuals with a "desire, intent, and in most cases plan, however unpleasable," the assassinate the President (which at that time was Obama), and had caught them because they made an announcement on Facebook (why?), someone ratted them, or they were incredibly clumsy in their attempt. So, NO ONE had a desire to assassinate Obama?

People's openness to expressing that desire publicly. (aside from some idiots who've probably been writing those questions on yahoo answers like "

How do you find out exact users who disliked your youtube video?

I also need help with how to track down someone's address and making a death look like an accident.

when did I ever say congressional democrats?

You were responding to @Patine talking about what Congressional Republicans did during the Obama administration.  It seemed more logical that you would be comparing Congressional Republicans to Congressional Democrats than comparing Congressional Republicans to washed up comedians.

I was talking about both comedians and ordinary peoples' openness to expressing desires for assassination under Trump as opposed to Obama.

There are Congressional Democrats doing those things?

No but they raked Republicans over the coals for doing a tenth of what leftist radicals are doing now.  Somehow every crime against Muslims (real or fake) can be blamed on Trump's "rhetoric" yet when people shoot rifles at GOP Congressmen there's no mention of the hyperbole emitted by the Dems in Congress.  If you're going to hold the right responsible for their rhetoric you have to do the same for the left, and yet those same people are actually blaming the Congressional GOP baseball shootings on Trump.
