No.

What'll happen is that May will be out eventually and another snap election will be called to try to give the tories a majority.

The populist left exceeded here due to the poor mainstream right, same in France and the USA but for the populist right.

Expect a tory majority by late 2018.

I'd probably support BNP first and then UKIP second and then Tories third. I am not a brit though.

I could see UKIP becoming a big party if they followed the same platform as the Danish Peoples Party. The DPP are center left on economic policy and right wing on immigration and culture. That'd hit well with the nationalist/traditionalist part of the British working class, who has no party that is 100% them right now. Trump also followed that strategy when he flipped MI, PA, WI. These three states are 80% White, and the U.K should be 80%(or even more idk) white aswell. It'd also be a strategy that'd go well with elderly voters as they tend to be nationalistic/traditionalistic in Britain, but economically left as they're dependent on the state to survive.

I am a right wing nationalist and hat the bnp they are real racists. tommy robinson left the bnp once he realize they were racist.

At last, someone from the populist left succeded.

Althoug he aint PM he still stopped the tories from getting a majority, which is good 'cause that'll cause them to make compromises.

he still lost thought. and if you want the populist left to have a future you dont want Jeremy Corbyn being that person.

I am a Richard Spencer type White Nationalist. My main focus is demographics, because we can't make Western Civilization great again with brown babies.

Please, just go throw yourself in a volcano and spare everyone, ESPECIALLY those with any semblance of sense, reason, and perspective, this constant grief!

You're not superior to me just because you have another view of the world. You have a superiority complex.

@wolves

During that short time that the BNP rose in the UK (when they won 2 seats in the European Parliament), what drove that increase in popularity?

I think UKIP took a lot voters from the BNP. The BNP voters were so foolish to think that if they leaved the EU the demographical problems would be solved. Fact is it wasn't the EU that caused the demographic situation the UK is in today. Enoch Powell held his blood river speed in 1968 long before the U.K entered the EU.

I know that UKIP was a big reason that short lives boost withered away.  I was thinking that the voters went to UKIP because it is anti-EU while staying away from radical ideas that the BNP gets involved with.  But, I wanted to see if that theory was correct by asking someone who lives in the area.

I forgot my second point about why the BNP went down the sink.

Their leader Nick Griffin is a flawed man. UKIP was aswell able to redefine British nationalism into euroskepticism.

I am not living in the area, though so i hope not i wasted your time. I just saw Richard Spencer talk about it and wanted to share his thought. He had a big insight in it, because he is in the global white nationalist community.

No, no, he brings home such entertainment. I mean I've never met anyone who is actually a white nationalist and would encourage them to change their ways and stop wasting their time. The south is unlikely to rise again, and whites are not going extinct, to my knowledge. I would say the same to a black supremacist, before you say anything

Global white birth rates are way under replacement levels. In their own countries Whites are becoming minorities within 2100. In the US newborn whites are now a minority!

Africas population is going to explode in the next 50 years and they want to go to white countries. There are many red flags.

But let's not go off-topic as it will only result in this thread getting closed.

Immigration and an incompetent Labour government. Labour voters barely go to the Conservatives because of cultural pressure (why we have shy tory voters) so BNP was the next best thing.

As an American, it seems that going to the Tories would be accepted a lot more than going to the BNP.

It is actually an interesting phenomenon that BNP took a lot of voters from Labour. I think it is because working class British people don't see them represented by a middle class third way labour type, and Corbyn really drove that crowd in as he seemed like one of them I.e. a working class person who understand the needs and worries of the ordinary people. Much like in USA with Bernie Sanders.

I actually think that a lot of UKIP voters from 2015 went to Labour this time.

so this guy is a mp interesting guy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Kinnock

He's the son of former Labour leader Neil Kinnock, who was a decent leader, until he got on the European gravy train and became Vice President of the European Commission, IMO spoiling his legacy a bit.

Well its not like you'd tell people youre voting BNP but it sounds better in your head than voting Tory.

It's like a black person voting Republican, they are raised to dislike them in some areas due to culture, they obviously would hold their nose while doing it so they just vote Libertarian instead.

I also think that white working class people in the U.K wants government health care.

Working class people in the UK don't know what they want. They just want help.

It was just an addition to why they don't want to vote for the tories.

Did May think that the UKIP crowd would vote for her because of her pro-brexit stance? She was gravely mistaken i guess.
