The election is now up for download. It includes Joe Biden, and events for the entire primary and general election. Other adjustments have been made as well.

I know a few of you have frowned on the events as being to plentiful, but I've received much more positive feedback for having a lot of events. Therefore, I'm keeping them until opinion sways the other way.

I had a great campaign with Graham! I stole the nomination, but proceeded to get decimated in the General Election :P

From the moment I won the nomination, I was in a terrible position. I actually ended up doing worse than was originally predicted, losing Mississippi, Tennessee, Arizona, Montana, and North Dakota from the general election map from nomination. Texas, Georgia, and Missouri were traitors from the start.

I tried to use the good ol' "spam 30 ads on election night" and it bumped me up from the predicted 50 something electoral votes to this. Miracles cannot be accomplished even with gamey tactics, it seems :P

I had fun though, you've crafted a fantastic scenario!

How did Biden win Arkansas, North Dakota and West Virginia so defiantly?

He won all +Montana, Wyoming, and Nebraska with over 60%.

I think the biggest problem is that with how the game works, negative attacks at the frontrunner hurt the general election in a certain proportion to how much support they lost. So, when Trump is hit with some of the nastier events, the party itself loses tons of support that it can never hope to gain back.

If there were to be any suggestion for fixing it in the future, I'd recommend more negative events for the Democrats, or more positive ones for the Republicans.

I'd like to see someone playthrough as a Republican and win the general election. It takes a near damn miracle, but it makes sense considering the legacy Trump has left behind after 4 years in office.

Yeah, I'm going to do a playthrough as Jon Huntsman and see if I can win as Reps. I know I've simulated twice in which Trump won in about 10 simulations, but this was before I added general election events.

@Patine

Yeah, these results are not among the worst results in US history, especially the PV. numbers. What I'm hoping to do is to construct the scenario to allow for Trump to either win it very closely (as he did in 2016) or to be defeated soundly for reelection like Jimmy Carter or Herbert Hoover.

Nevertheless, Trump has an event that gives him a major momentum boost a couple of days before the election, but it doesn't seem to be helping.

@CalebsParadox

I was playing as Huntsman, and lost to Trump in the primaries, despite having won 3 of the first 4 states, and about 7 states overall. Cruz sort of undermined me. I stayed in the race and offered to become Trump's VP, which he accepted. Upon acceptance, I looked at the General Election map, and Trump is beating the Democrats quite considerably:

It should be noted that I never once attacked the Democrats, so I'm not sure how Trump got this advantage. It might be because I was constantly putting favorable ads for myself.
