I don't know enough about O'Malley or Hickenlooper to say, but Matt Gonzalez or Kat Swift might make good candidates for the Greens. Gonzalez was even been elected to a government office on the Green label (albeit, only Member of the City Board of Supervisors of San Francisco), but that's one of the best electoral victories for the US Greens, if not the best, to date.
