I do not share your appraisal of the situation. I'm starting to feel that I'm losing faith in the Infinity engines' viability and update scheduling compared to the proven, tried and true, and more user-friendly to edit, if more limited in some notable features, Forever engines. The main reason the update is taking so long is because in this update the features (Negotiations and so forth) Anthony's implementing are difficult to engineer as much of how the game handles things has to be changed.
