Patine 468
http://www.aol.com/article/2016/08/08/hillary-clinton-is-surging-in-one-of-the-most-reliably-red-state/21447280/ This article claims, at this time, by certain polls, Georgia is favouring Clinton and may not be safe for Trump. No Democratic Presidential election GE candidate since Carter (and it was his home state) has carried it.

vcczar 1,224
Yeah, I was about to say Bill Clinton carried both GA and AZ, which are two states that his wife might actually take.
Maxxiii 0
To win Georgia, you need a overwhelming amounts of black (and minority) voter turnout. Not even Obama has accomplished that in Georgia and Arizona. It is foolish to think that Georgia and other "contested red states" such as Arizona and Utah will go blue this year. The polls don't calculate turnout. From what we all may know the polls might've oversampled democrats and blacks in general. And considering I have read the page myself. It doesn't even say how many people or what the samples were in the poll. One other point is, if Georgia really supported Clinton, she would focus on Georgia. Obviously internal polling says otherwise. You guys should stop being clickbaited so easily.

Ok fine, well multiple studies have shown that Drumpfs image among minorities will drive turnout up, this will combat Obama not being on the top of the ticket, then there's Clinton obvious good relations from being married to the first black president and good friends with the 2nd, all this and bing-bang-boom you have Hispanics in Arizona and Texas, blacks in Virginia Georgia North Carolina and Louisiana and you have a much tighter race in the South. Yeah and 2 percent white voter turnout both college and non college will nullify all that even if it is actually true which is still very unfair to Trump given that Trump has the largest amounts of hispanic supporters when you compare him to other GOP candidates and General Election candidates such as George W. Bush. And you KNOW that white voter turnout will be soaring this year. We are talking about a man who gets his votes from "disenfranchised voters" and who also got the highest amounts of primary voters by far among any other GOP candidate in a rigged primary election nonetheless, he did it all against 17 other republicans + the media machine + democrats (Bernie Sanders attacked Trump more than he attacked Clinton, that tells you about his priorities) So, a GOP candidate with highest amounts of minority supporters when comparing to other GOP candidates in this decade who also energisized disenfranchised voters who didn't care about the elections which already gave a lot of new republicans in the party is going to lose... because Clinton is going to attract as much minorities as Obama did? (Which btw is not going to happen). Also unfavourability ratings doesn't mean that they are going to vote against him. It just means they won't vote for him. Which btw most people who say Trump is unfavourable is democrats. Take a look at sampling of many of the polls (which they don't release them anymore... I wonder why???) and you are going to see even when women and democrats are oversampled, Trump still manages to contain a tight race with Clinton. One important note: They don't poll about "the issues" anymore as much. Wonder why? Because people overall (even democrats) think Trump is better in Economy, Foreign Policy, immigration etc and the media doesn't want to show that.

Ok so he actually doesn't have high minority support at all both Rubio and even Cruz crushed him with minorities (Kasich also got some action), primary votes never translate into election victory, its weird they jus don't, and I'll tell ya this, the media was actually on Drumpf's side they gave him billions of dollars of free media and hailed him endlessly when he won any primary, and that's because the media bosses are in Hillary's pocket and after they have escorted him to a victory they will turn on him, the only reason why they did this is because he was the only candidate Clinton could beat. Again the sheer disgust that minorities have for him will counteract the loss of Obama supporters, and the about poll on issues,of the things you mentioned he only wins on Foreign Policy, Clinton crushes him on Immigration and doesn't crush but beats him by a fair margin on the Economy. Dallas 0
I do not see Georgia going Democrat. Reuters released a poll (and it was proven to be rigged), that shows Hillary just 3 points over Trump. It was national, and rigged. But like I said, Georgia should be Trump country. In the end, I have the feeling that people are underestimating Trump. Edited August 8, 2016 by Dallas To make needed changes related to the topic at hand
Reagan04 658
I don't like Drumpf because he is a faux conservative. But again I will reiterate that he is the candidate that could have and will lose to Hillary. But I think the conversation has grown stale as I won't change my feelings on him and I know you won't so I think I'll just go and continue editing my Maryland Scenario. I agree with Reagan04 (though not because he is a faux conservative, but a faux POLITICIAN - the man is a showman at heart), and I've just released a West Germany 1949 scenario. Has anyone even looked at it?

Jayavarman 129
A Clinton win in Georgia would mean that the rest of the election was a blowout, i.e. massive electoral landslide, which is quite possible at this time.
jvikings1 40
I highly doubt Clinton wins Georgia or Arizona. She had very high unfavorable ratings herself. I know that a few months ago, it was exposed that the polls showing Clinton having a huge lead had way more Democrats than Republicans. Also, polls have been very wrong recently. TheMiddlePolitical 98
Im going to say this, the polls are skewed so badly, everywhere. We have never seen an election like this one. This reminds me of something I was reading day of Reagan vs Carter it was predicted to be "very close leaning Carter". And you know why the media attacks Trump so much, they're afraid. I'm just posting this and do not want to start an argument, this is also coming from a AA who is center-left. Trump will win in a landslide. Nobody will believe it,cause all they do is listen to the media. -Johnstown PA Clinton rally, brings two busses worth of crowd. Actual workers refuse to attend. -Trump pulls 10k of crowds -The DNC tried to make itself look "unified" by bringing in paid sitters. -Its good Trump is a narcicist, because he will want to be known as the best president ever no matter what, and that obviously benifits us,the american people. -After litterally traveling the country this summer,I could easily predict a landslide for Trump. -I can't believe anyone who is voting for Hillary,I'll leave that there. p.s no arguing. Simply saving this to requote on election day, - I love seeing Trump supporters doing gymnastics, just like Romney supporters in 2012 with their 'unskewed polls'.
