RI Democrat
Does anyone know whether it is in fact possible to give a candidate a negative bonus for a particular state in the general election? I've been working on a tweaked 2016 and was trying to figure out what to do about Trump's apparent weak standing in Utah. I tried giving him a -15 bonus for Utah, but the game still started with him about 40 points ahead there, and his margin actually increased during the campaign. Is that something that just doesn't work, or did I maybe put the number in the wrong place?
Patine
I believe any number you put into that slot becomes an "absolute number" (that is, in mathematical terminology, it ignores integer status and is by default positive). At least that's how it was in the P4E2008 scenario editor, and I think (and it's very likely) it's the same in the PI editor.
