Drumpf Drop Out!!!!????

Recommended Posts

I had just posted a quote on this here.

Reagan04's quote -  "4 minutes ago, Reagan04 said:

Except now Drumpf will drop out."

My Response - "That would be the most honourable, selfless, noble, and statesmanlike thing he would have done all year thus far if he were to do so. I'm still a bit in doubt he actually will, however."

Also, constitutionally, a ticket is not intrinsically bound to a party, as political parties, as I've said before, are not regulated, managed, defined, mentioned once, or even have their existence acknowledged in the US Constitution. The many members of the GOP who don't like Trump are only stuck with him because of party nomination rules, conventions, and traditions, which the party itself could (though at the risk of significant controversy and possibly future backlash for the sake of present-day expediency) change through some mechanism or another of their choosing, not constitutional law or even, in most states, direct and clearly-stated electoral law.

Why the hell would Trump drop out at this stage? Doesn't make sense....but then again, Trump winning the GOP nomination doesn't make much sense either.  :-/

Oh yeah, because the mainstream media, or should I say "lame stream" as Sarah Palin says, is honest. I was on Facebook the other day, and this guys polling numbers came back with HUGE Trump lead. He said over 30,000 were polled, in all 50 states. 34% Republican. 33% Democrat and 33% Independent. Trump was at least 65%. Hillary was in the 30% range. What did not go to Trump and Hillary was "other". Non-biased, and they made sure each was a voter as well.

More believable than anything Fox, CNN and MSNBC has put out. I don't have a link, as it was a Facebook comment in a group that has to be joined.

Last I checked, the Presidential election was not a national election.  And, Trump is not Hitler.

If you think a 10 percent lead nationally doesn't translate into victory I don't know what to tell you.

Facebook poll =/=  Scientific poll adjusted for demographics, Or did you not learn your lesson from 2012 when you all insisted the polls were wrong and...come election day...they were correct! Go figure. Gonna 'unskew' some polls again, are we?

Also lol @ Fox News being liberal.

Polling Aggregates are the most accurate though ;

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ 5.1 Hillary Lead

http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/2016-general-election-trump-vs-clinton 6.8 Hillary Lead

http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/ 73.2% of Hillary win, 88% if election was held today.

Keep hanging onto your 'everyones biased against us!' memento though.

How cordial, but to get to the point, why would Drumpf mention it? He's very self-absorbed and narcissistic and if he decides against it he would want to show weakness. And knowing Drumpf's bombastic personality why hasn't he come out yet and fervently denied it, I think that because he hasn't done that and start shouting about dishonest media it makes it more likely to be true.

Now, let's put this into perspective. In 2012, we had a failed nominee. He was too busy working on his mansion, never appeared on shows while Obama did. He was not a enthusiastic  choice. If you consider a measly 1,000 in a Fox Poll, over a credible 30,000+ poll; that is your thing I suppose. Trump is not Romney. Trump will stay in the spotlight.

Might I also add, this guy and his polling agency CALLED- did not create a Facebook poll or sent surveys. But called.

If you think a facebook poll or some poll from a random guy is more accurate than the polling agencies who have been doing this for 20-30 years (and have a decent track record) then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe I'll eat my words come Nov 6th, but I have a feeling that's going to be you. ^_^

@Reagan04 your immaturity is cancerous to what was a tight knit nice forum

Anyways, I'm going to take the wisdom of @Dallas here and stop fighting and getting into heated and, ultimately futile, debates, and work on designing scenarios. I have a large number I still want to get finished and put out.

In this thread, we have:

  • An inflammatory title
  • Debate over the veracity of poll numbers
  • Godwin's law
  • General anger with @Reagan04

I don't understand what's wrong with political discussion being posted... until it turns into this.

@QuickHead555

What is the demographic of those polling? That seems highly inaccurate to recent polls elsewhere, which has Clinton leading by 10 points.

I've conducted polls on the internet as well, and I find that the people that tend to be drawn to political polls and political forums on the internet generally lean Conservative or Libertarian for some reason. It's definitely a noticeable inflation over actual numbers. Most of my friends are left-wing, and I'm one of a few that do post on forums like this. Whereas most of my 50 or so Libertarian and Conservative friends do polls and forums. In any poll, you should do demographic questions to see how many people from what ideology is taking the poll, then you sort of have to mentally adjust your results if you have any lopssidedness in ideologies.

The swing states have stayed close.  So, Clinton could be jacking up her numbers in states where she will win anyway which will raise her national numbers while having little impact on the overall election.

Wonderful, she will be a terrific president. Can't wait for the corruption, lying, and everything wrong with the world to get worse with her in office.
