Conservative Elector 2
Hi guys, I have created some new state map and I hope I can encourage you to make cool scenarios with it. Thanks. Have fun, any feedback is welcome! More will come, when I have time for it to do them. Cheers! You can now create scenarios of the states of: Alabama Arkansas Colorado Delaware Hawaii Idaho Kansas Maine Mississippi Missouri Nebraska North Dakota Oklahoma Oregon South Dakota Utah Wyoming Luki http://campaigns.270soft.com/2016/02/07/lukis-new-maps/
booth088
yay! Looking forward to my home state of Minnesota! I think a 2008 Coleman v Franken election would be fun. Or a 2010 Governor's race of Dayton v Emmer. Both EXTREMELY close races.
Conservative Elector 2
I know, but all Minnesota maps I saw, are too big and if I change their height, I cannot change the color of the boundaries to black (0,0,0) so easily... Will do Nebraska next.
Conservative Elector 2
Nebraska is now included!

jvikings1
Thanks for this. I was waiting for Kentucky since I live there and want to make a 2015 governor scenerio.
Sunnymentoaddict
Oh man, do one for the current senate race also, or the recent Mitch senate race a few years back.

Zach
Where do you source your maps from? I've been trying to find ones for Malaysia and Singapore, but it seems they aren't available, so I'd like to construct them myself.
Patine
Wikipedia usually has decent maps of pretty much every modern sovereign nation, and many historic ones (and historic eras of current ones) subdivided into their top-tier administrative subdivisions. I know that college and university papers don't allow Wikipedia as a source, but it's good in a pinch for certain resources such as that for these sort of games. ThePotatoWalrus
Thank you for the Ohio one. I look forward to creating a Portman (R) vs Strickland (D) Senate race. Maybe you should make Florida next? I want to do a Rubio vs Rocky, or whomever the Democrats decide to elect.

I've been trying to find ones for Malaysia and Singapore, but it seems they aren't available, so I'd like to construct them myself. As @Patine said it's Wikipedia. To be exact: I took always the ones on the left side: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Kartenwerkstatt/Positionskarten/Nordamerika#Bundesstaaten_2 @ThePotatoWalrus Florida's map on this page was too big to be created for that game. If I lower the size it doesn't work with the game engine anymore. To make it work, I have to re-color the brown borders in black. When I change the size, the brown is splitting in various shapes and I can't re-color it easily. For Ohio: You're welcome. @Reagan04 Maryland's map was pretty tiny on this page: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Kartenwerkstatt/Positionskarten/Nordamerika#/media/File:Maryland_Locator_Map.PNG Therefore, I didn't make it. Sadly, I have no experience in making maps from other sources. If you think, the size is enough, I can do it - but I don't know if it would look that great... Patine
Ah, yes, the one from my old Florida 2010 Senate scenario for P4E2008. A lot of people said it lasted too long (as in number of turns), and had too many endorsers available, but I hope the map is useful.
Patine
Maryland just has a very strange and awkward geographical shape. But, when the Lord Baltimore gets bullied in the land grab by William Penn and the Royal Governors of Virginia in the formative days of these borders, such things can happen... Conservative Elector 2
There are 3 main steps I follow when I am creating a new map: 1) searching Google for a good template 2) editing it with Paint (to make the borders black, the regions PI blue etc.) 3) using Gimp to cut it out without a background and import it on the President Infinity main map background file That's it. ^^
