I might argue that endorsers have too much power and some adjustments should be made. For instance, in the 2012 scenario, it might not be a bad idea for Obama to just start off with most democrats having already endorsing him. Having democrat after democrat endorse him during the 2012 primaries gives him an unfair advantage in the general.

This reminds me of another, somewhat opposite, issue. A scenario designer should be able to set an endorser to NEVER, under any circumstances, endorse a particular candidate, no matter how many PIP's they waste on them, or how much momentum they gain, or how much flip-flopping they do. This would represent the notable number of times a relationship between the candidate and the endorser developed irreconcilable hostility even before the campaign began.
