jvikings1 40
The Communists are a rising party. The Northeast has become heavily Communist. The Republicans and Democrats combined to try to stop the Communist wave. They have heavy support in the far-West and far-South. The middle states are the competitive states that will determine the election. Will the Republicans and Democrats be able to recover? or will the US turn to complete Communism? The Supreme Court will have many openings and if a Communist wins, the court will be pro-Communist.
Falcon 0
I like it, I like it. Will play if you create it.
Patine 469
Whose the Communist candidate, by the way? Is it a real Communist in the US at the time (like Alger Hiss; I don't know if Henry Wallace was still alive at that time), or will it be a fictitious one?
jvikings1 40
I will probably go with Gus Hall.
BubblesAfricano 0
Communism in America? McCarthy Rolled Over in his coffin when he heard you type this post. In all seriousness, good luck with this.

jvikings1 40
http://campaigns.270soft.com/2015/10/25/1972-communists/ I would love suggestions especially candidates that could be added.
Conservative Elector 2 333
Awesome scenario. Perhaps you could add a minor third way party, so anyone can watch the election without actually playing. The libertarians would came to my mind.
Patine 469
Not to slander the Civil Rights Movement as a whole, but the leadership had the affiliations, but maybe MLK as a Communist challenger. He may well have survived till then if the Communists were running the Federal Government at the time of his assassination (potentially speaking).
Conservative Elector 2 333
Elvis Presley could be a fun choice.
jvikings1 40
I could add a spectator party if you wanted to watch the election progress without being in it.
jvikings1 40
Elvis Presley could be a fun choice. Possibly

jvikings1 40
I am thinking about addig a third party that is a centralist party that is between the Republicrats and the Communists. Any suggesstions on candidates that would fit that role?
