ScottM
I've uploaded an updated version of the 2010 scenario onto the scenarios page. It has two new parties (Family First and Christian Democratic), issue positions were refined, several new endorsers were added, as well as a couple of events. Enjoy!
ScottM
I just uploaded an updated edition of this one. The issues "Troops in Iraq" and "WorkChoices" were replaced with "Troops in Afghanistan" and "Abortion." Also, the issue positions for the Christian Democratic party were changed, as I forgot to change then when I set up the scenario originally. Feedback from someone familiar with Australian politics would be greatly appreciated.
The_Master
I've just downloaded this scenario. Unfortunately I can't get it to open. After converting the xml to p4e format I then get a message telling me the introduction text is not a valid integer. Anybody got any ideas on how I can get this scenario to work? Would really like to try it.

It won't work on President Forever, because it was designed for the Australian version of Prime Minister Forever, and that game uses xml files.

President Forever + Primaries 2008 uses .xml files just like Congress Forever 2010, Australian Prime Minister Forever 2010 and 2013, Canadian Prime Minister Forever 2011, and the upcoming President Forever + Primaries 2012. I imagine The_Master was trying to use Australian Prime Minister Forever 2004, which, like all the old run of TheorySpark games, like President Forever (without primaries) 2004, British Prime Minister Forever 2005, Chancellor Forever 2005 and 2009, and Canadian Prime Minister Forever 2006 and 2008, uses a custom file format, .p4e. This old engine is ENTIRELY incompatible with the new one. You'll need to buy the new game to use this scenario, I'm afraid to say.

I knew that about the original President Forever which is why I made that assumption. I didn't realize that about the old Australian game though. Thanks for the heads up.
The_Master
Okay thanks! Whereabouts can the new Prime minister forever 2010 version be purchased from? Cannot find it on this website. I did find a pre-order link from a couple of years ago. Not sure if this is where I can purchase this version from.

ScottM
hi how do you actually put this scenario into the game.I just got the game and I have no idea. After you download the scenario you'll have to unzip it to the scenarios folder in the directory where you installed the game.

Ah, I see you're problem. You're obviously using the Australian PM4E 2004 edition. You need the Australain PM4E 2010 or 2013 edition to play ScottM's scenario.
