Remade Canadian Scenarios

Recommended Posts

I always prefer the "Wonk edition" map. Is has to be edited for the earlier elections though.

Yeah, I'll do a wonk edition version of the 2008 scenario and convert the 2011 scenario into the 2008 version with the wonk edition map.

I'll post regionalism and whatnot for approval.

I've just finished a 2008 scenario. It doesn't use the wonk map, but it could be a starting point for you. If you're interested let me know. I could use some feedback for it anyway. :)

I've made a few minor fixes to the scenario this afternoon. I found a few things I forgot to change when I first created it. May be more updates to come, so stay tuned!

And just so you know, I'm working on a 2006 scenario as well. I really like the new game, and I'd love it if we wound up with a lot of scenarios for it. :)

Edit 05/17/2011: Made some more fixes. It should be final now. If anyone finds any problems, please let me know.

Hey all,

I'm working on the 2008 scenario right now (well, the PMF 2008 version). Tell me your thoughts on the issues and regionalism, please.

Northern Québec is C economically, on forests and unions it's CL. On firearms it's CR. Public childcare is not very popular in Quebec due to shortages and a massive cost.

For suggestions, I would put all Quebec with at least 3 in US Relations, on childcare I would put a 3 in every other region in Quebec and on Healthcare on 3 or 4 in every region.

Actually, I'm going to replace Parliament and Senate Reform with Cities and Infrastructure as an issue, and fix the scenario accordingly.

//Cities and Infrastructure

Establish a national transit strategy and give cities a permanent revenue source to fix infrastructure.

Improve public transport and urban services through higher public investment. Increase gas tax to pay for it.

Increase federal funding for infrastructure projects and provide financial relief for cities.

Current funding levels are appropriate. Incentivize cities to be more fiscally responsible.

Reduce federal funding for infrastructure to save money. The cities need to sort out problems on their own.

The 2011 election scenario for the 2008 engine. Do you have any updates on the progress of it? I really enjoyed your 2008 scenario!!!

It's going well actually. I just need to finish the events and ridings, and it should be good to go.

Do you know anyone who has the Habsfan 1993, 1997, and 2000 scenarios? I liked those.

They're posted on the 270soft scenario section under the category for Prime Minister Forever - Canada 2008. You have to go through the older posts. However, I have not been able to find the 1993 scenario.

Edit: Habsfan's 1988 Scenario is on there too.
