RyanO
I love the new engine used for the 2011 model. I think a great scenario would be to do an early version of the upcoming Alberta Election. The Wildrose Alliance is actually making things interesting for the first time in a long time. Plus you have a number of possible PC Leadership Candidates, the Liberals are in the middle of a Leadership Race, The Alberta Party is on the rise, a lot of great potential. SDinCanada
Building on the previous post, there are several upcoming provincial elections across Canada that would be super cool to see mods for.
gopprogressive
I'm working on an alternate 2008 scenario with the 6 major parties (CON, LIB, NDP, BLOC, GRN, and IND) with the wonk edition map. I'll try to submit it as soon as my computer is virus-free.
gopprogressive
So how can I simulate the BQ collapse in the 2011 scenario? What issue(s) should they be vulnerable on?
RI Democrat
I think Layton said he was amenable to some additional protections and exceptions regarding the Constitution and French language issues. Maybe you could have his position line up with the issue centers for Quebec on these issues, and then have the Bloc Quebecois taking a more extremist position? That's about all I can think of off the top of my head, unless you wanted to make it really obvious with something like "______ is the party best situated to represent Quebec," and then have the BQ on the left, NDP on the center-left, Liberals in the center, Conservatives on the center-right. The right position could be "all the mainstream parties are too left-wing" or something like that.
