danieldlmn 0
In coming weeks and months am going to start working on 2012 Advance scenario.... Base off my 2008 Advance... So I just want to get the ball rolling such as a discussion on who the Republican Candidates might be, issues, what you might like to see added in scenario that wasn't in the 2008 Advance... Etc I was thinking of replacing and combining the Iraq and Afghanistan issue and calling it Democracy in the middle East... changing the name of the Iran Issue to either Iran/North Korea or nuclear proliferation... I think health care Stance will need to be re-done to reference Obama Health Care law... I want to add an issue call Economy/unemployment but I don't know another issues I could either combine or take out any thought?
Patine 512
If you're doing a Democracy in the Middle East Issue, I'd also include Libya in it, as I don't think the US is done there, whatever Obama may claim. I'd also include a minor but potentially troublesome Democratic challenger like Alan Grayson or Alvin Greene.
danieldlmn 0
yea that why i was just going to combine the three into one issues... instead of 3 independent issues for Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq... it make it easy where we don't have three issues taking up space for basically the same thing..... I was thinking of making kucinich that troublesome challenger but minor one cause he made alot noise over Libya and calling for impeachment
Mr. Political 21
Republicans Santorum Pawlenty Gingrich Bachmann Trump Huckabee Romney Huntsman, Jr. Palin (John)Bolton (Clarence) Thomas - there was/is a ground roots movement and last year a couple websites included him. Definitely off-by-default.

ayamo 19
RAND Paul is much more likely Add Gary Johnson to the mix, as well as Hermann Cain. Obama Health Care should be Obamacare. Not so sure about Liby and Afghanistan/Iraq in the same categories. Maybe one War on Terror (Afghanistan and the like) and Middle East Uprisings as another issue. There should be off-challengers for Obama, like Howard Dean and Dennis Kuchinic.

Republican (Front runner) Former Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas Former Governor Mitt Romney Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota 2ndtier Former Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich of Georgia Representative Ron Paul of Texas Businessman Donald Trump of New York 3rdtier Former Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota Governor Haley Barbour of Mississippi Governor Mitch Daniels of Indiana Governor Haley Barbour of Mississippi Former United States Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman, Jr. of Utah Former Governor Buddy Roemer of Louisiana and remember am only allowed to have 16 candidates in each party
Mr. Political 21
i'd like to see Thomas personally but I also think you should switch Romney and Trump. Trump polls even or ahead of huckabee
danieldlmn 0
BTW am know good at writing synopses... Any volunteers want to write the synopses for 2012 describing the Election?
Mr. Political 21
I can do the synopsis later tonight. also did u want those platforms?
danieldlmn 0
Yea a lot of this going off instinct and reading straw polls... does anyone know a site that will list all polls cause I hate going by just one poll i like to average them all out so get fair reading Think your right about Donald trump he polling about 8-10% but so is Palin... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationwide_opinion_polling_for_the_United_States_presidential_election,_2012#Republican_primary Remember everyone this is a work in progress when I release a scenario it is going to be continually updated as poll change
danieldlmn 0
yes please... I still have to find issue that I can replace to put in place for issue of Economy/unemployment... Cause I think that will be huge issue
Mr. Political 21
4 years of an Obama Administration have left supporters of the "Change" Team wondering what's different? Though some progress remains the economy is still sluggish (at best) and the dragged-out invasion of Libya only recently came to a close after 2 1/2 months of air strikes. Iraq? But President Obama remains fairly popular with a 50% approval rating. However conservatives are thirsting for a win. Will the rift in the GOP lead to 4 more years? danieldlmn 0
sound good
mahaadoxyz 9
Um, I can see the argument for why she might emerge but, Michele Bachmann as a front-runner? I find that a little tricky to swallow.
Mr. Political 21
Well I'm hearing she could do well in SC and IA, makes perfect sense. I think if you put her high in those states (as she should be) that gives her the Big Mo'
danieldlmn 0
true i could put her 2ndtrie.... but i need one more third candidate to be listed in front runner status.... I don't think Palin is it... maybe donald and her could trade place but I see Donald support falling like a house card... right now it name recognition... which is a mile wide and a inch deep... I guess I could put him in the front runner but make him a weak candidate like I did Rudy in 2008
danieldlmn 0
I could make Michele Bachmann the "Huckabee" of 2012 meaning I put her kind of low but make where she could claw her way to top like Huckabee did in 2008
danieldlmn 0
has anyone seen any polling trump as independent candidate?
