chickoff
Is anyone planning on doing a Chicago Mayor scenario? This would be very timely with the Rahm Emmanuel potential.
matvail2002
It has been a long time that this was discussed. I wish you good luck! I found a map right here: http://s600.photobucket.com/albums/tt83/Mattydaniel/?action=view¤t=Chicago.jpg
zion
The problem with Chicago is that for it to be a decent game, considering the GOP is tota crap, I'll have to make the primary stage into a long contest like the Presidential primaries, instead of all on one day. I'd be interested in what people think for candidates.

chickoff
I think the game would be funner if the primary was heldon one day like in real life. I think all precincts should be worth the same 1 delegate or whatever the city equivalent would be. Is it possible to make an all candidate primary and the top two regardless of party affiliation advance. It may be tricky because I imagine the top two would both be Dems. What do you think? Is it possible.
Reece134
Pretty sure a jungle primary is impossible, and there is a lot of candidates on that list for Dems, too many, I presume, for the game platform to cope with. The weakness of the GOP makes this one pretty difficult to model I guess. Just for future reference for creating my own scenarios too, how do you simulate the actual popular vote when the game is optimised for delegates and or ECV's? Make the notional delegates/ECV's proportional to the popular vote? Reece.

It only seems to work for certain scenarios, and even then, only on certain people's computers. A Louisiana scenario once pulled it off, and I got it to work for my US 1824 scenario - on my own and some people's computers, but others got errors. In other words, it CAN work, but it's unreliable, and no one has yet nailed down just what does make it work or not.

You basically change the date of the convention after the election as I remember correctly to make it as a primary election. However, with the last Louisiana gubernatorial election, it gives pretty realistic results.
wrestlingking235
I think a fun OFF candidate would be Oprah. It's no secret she's a solid Democrat and has the money and charisma to pull it off
