AV on PM4E 2010

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a little bug I have. I've turned preferences on for PM4E 2010 but they slow the game down massively to the point where it can take up to 5 minutes just for the turn to complete after me moving on to the next one. Is there any reason why it's making the game go so slowly?

Thanks.

I recommand to put AV only on a four parties system, which makes the game much faster.

For exemple, you could have these four parties for the UK:

-Conservatives (Plus unionist parties in NI)

-Labour (Plus SLDP in NI)

-Lib Dems (Plus Alliance in NI)

-Others (Composed of SNP, Plaid Cymru, UKIP, Sinn Féin, Green)

If you edit the scenario file; there's a line that lets you turn it on or off.

Where exactly?

I can't seem to find it.

Edit: Wait, think I've found it - the line is 'preferences' isn't it.

Also wondering - in the scenario file theres a line right at the bottom that says 'allow coalition offers' with 0 below it. Does this mean it can be edited in some way so that a coalition can be made rather than the Queen just selecting whoever gets the most seats. Anyone know?

I think that sets whether formal coalition offers can be made during the campaign. 0 means off, 1 means on.
