RI Democrat 39
http://www.mediafire.com/?lz5zozntnnd This is based on the possibility of Kevin Rudd calling a double-dissolution election if the opposition-controlled Senate continues refusing to pass his Emissions Trading Scheme when parliament returns. (Normally, Australia only elects half their Senate in conjunction with House elections, as far as I can tell.) It's not really possible to get the computer to separate out the results for each house; however, all the House results come in before any of the Senate results. Also, since the Senate uses more of a proportional representation system, I tried to replicate it by giving the ALP and the Coalition a number of uncontested seats, then having them compete with each other and/or with the minor parties for the rest. Opening screen (with description): The map: Results: Party leaders- Liberal: Tony Abbott, Peter Costello, Joe Hockey, Malcolm Turnbull, Brendan Nelson Labor: Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard National: Warren Truss Greens: Bob Brown Democrats: Lyn Allison (didn't really know whom to pick - they've lost all their federal representation) Family First: Steve Fielding Independent-Left: Nick Xenophon Independent-Right: Bob Katter, Tony Windsor Feedback welcome, of course. RI Democrat 39
Did anybody end up trying this?
Patine 468
Did anybody end up trying this? I've started a game, and noticed something strange. It causes a 'lag,' or pause between clicking a button or region and the function activation that no other TheorySpark game scenario to date has caused. This has hampered a serious play. I'll try to truck through a full game later this week, though.
gopprogressive 1,063
Turnbull should be the default Liberal leader. But otherwise I'm interested.
RI Democrat 39
Turnbull should be the default Liberal leader. But otherwise I'm interested. Why, given that he just got dumped in favor of Abbott?

I'll try to truck through a full game later this week, though. Is this due to the increase in parties? This is a big problem in the scenario I am creating (using PM Forever British, but with the Australian preferences toggled). I'd like to know how many parties you need to get rid of to get it playable
paulyt 1
Is anybody able to re-upload this? It's says the file has expired or has been deleted.
jack2794 0
Is anybody able to re-upload this? It's says the file has expired or has been deleted. I second this. It's be good if someone could re-upload, it looks like a fun scenario.
Alfonzo 117
I'd love to see if this could be done for the new PM4E engine.
