Treasurer
This is for future reference, as i would like to do one eventually. I made a call for Bulgaria 2005 some time ago, but shelved that in favour of Iceland. That's why i did Kanchelska in place of that. But when or if it comes to it, is there any suggestions what would you like to see? Currently i've been interested in Romania at the time of the Romanian Revolution in 1989, however the elections are very one-sided in 1990 for the socialists, and not much better in 1992 but i will still leave them as an option. matvail2002
I would like to see a fictional country based on Poland, which has (I think), the most interesting political parties in Eastern Europe. -A centre-right conservative Christian Democratic Party -A centre-right Liberal Party -A social-democratic party -A left-wing populist and agarian party -A far-right anti-immigration and anti-EU party
Treasurer
Sounds good, but at this moment i'm not concentrating on brand new fictional nations. Just Scotland 2015, The Best PM/non-PM scenario and possibly some follow-ups to ones i've done. Any other ideas?
EGaffney
Maybe one of the recent Polish elections - either the Civic Platform win, or (perhaps more fun) the Law and Justice win. Also, the last Czech election was very close. All of these were held under PR.
Patine
Maybe the Poland 1989 Solidarity win over the Communists. I imagine that was FPTP, as I believe that's what the East Bloc nations used in their one-sided elections.

I imagine that was FPTP, as I believe that's what the East Bloc nations used in their one-sided elections. The problem is that it's an automatic win for the Communists and their allies - they gave themselves 65% of the seats in the pre-election settlement! Treasurer
Then there's also Ukraine. The Ukraine 2006 election saw the rise of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc as the second party, gaining 108 seats.
gopprogressive
I am actually working on a Poland-based scenario called Dmowska. More on that later.

Poland has both Parliamentary and legislative elections and we haven't seen scenarios made like that.

Around the Village, who asked me for help but hasn't replied to my last set of questions for a while, is planning both a set of presidential and parliamentary elections for one country, that being South Korea. It would be nice to see if it happens.
