Center-right, pro-Hindu party (based on the BJP IRL)

Centrist Alliance

Agarian and rural-based Centrist party which is a splinter faction of the Congress

Far-left party based on Nepal and some regions in India IRL

Islamic Alliance

Moderate conservative party strong in Muslim areas

I have some ideas for an election in fictional country based off of India, however, I just need a good name.

Do any of you guys have an idea?

Heh. I don't want to do an RL Indian election as India has ridiculously complex politics and I don't feel like putting up 18 million parties and regions.

Atleast you wouldn't have to make anything up. Go on .....Less taxing than using your imagination.

As you may know, there is right now a month-long election in India which will be largest democratic election ever made in history.

Based, on many experts the turnout will be good, with appoximately 60% of the population who will vote.

Maybe use some of the real life issue in this election for the Ayati scenario?

The Economy and the economic crisis

National unity and multiculturalism

Relation with neighouring countries

Terrorism

Will you have Ayati be divided into states and territories largely distinguished ethinically, like RW India, or a different regional scheme? I look forward to seeing this!

Yes, several probably will have Telegu or Tamil as their main languages rather than Hindi.

This won't be for at least a few months, not until I can finish the other major three that I'm working on.

I'd prefer if you didn't combine it with South Guanjin, as I planned a quite distinct set of circumtances and situations in that scenario, and I should be working on it soon. I could, however, include Ayatian Relations as an issue as a nod to this scenario.

Good, then I won't. And matavail, South Guanjin is based off of SE Asia.

Are they any North American or Oceanian nations for this micronational world except for Terre-Neuve?

Maybe, I would be interested to work on these one if there is any.

I maybe have two ideas:

-Nouvelle-France (based on a Québec with Ontario map) with a political system close to Terre-Neuve.

-Cascadia (based on the BC map and party system with Oregon and Washington attached with a strong Green Party).

Rocentia and Stormark are kinda North American. The former is a cross between Canada and Russia, but the latter is more Viking and Scandanavia-based (though I used the Canadian Maritimes as a map).

Other than that, no. Though, I did like your Santos idea- so that will be coming up once I finish Astaria, Rocentia, and/or Ayati.
