arrabin56
I've started on an NY Senate campaign for Kirsten Gillibrand's seat. I have only done Democratic candidates, along w/ issues and such. It will be done with random primary dates in early 2010, much like the presidential campaign. Please give me any other candidates to add, in any party. -Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand -A.G. Andrew Cuomo -Nassau Cty. Exec. Tom Suozzi -Rep. Carolyn McCarthy -Gov. David Paterson (OFF) -Caroline Kennedy (OFF)
Kauai
David Paterson is running for reelection, so I wouldn't add him. Gillibrand is my Congresswoman, so I'm so excited that she got picked. Let's just hope a Republican doesn't win this district now, however. Anyway, here are some Republican candidates: Rudy Giuliani Peter King John Faso
Sean
I read that Rick Lazio may run. Man, the NY GOP is weak.
arrabin56
i think Lazio might run for Governor, rather than Senator. I can include him anyway While Paterson will almost certainly run for reelection, I'm including him as an off-candidate just for fun. Giuliani and Cuomo might be more likely for Gov. as well. Pataki? Bloomberg?
jlbarone3
I recently read that the NRSC is trying to get Pataki to run and that Cornyn met with him in NYC. I doubt he will run, but he would be a (comparatively) strong candidate so you should probably add him. i think Lazio might run for Governor, rather than Senator. Abe Lincoln
Add Bloomberg as an independent.
matvail2002
Maybe Anthony Masiello, Steve Israel, Matthew Driscoll or Byron Brown for the Dems? Roy Bernardi, Bill Paxon, Phil Amicone or James T. Walsh for the GOP?
AmericanDream
I have read in a few news articles that Congresswoman Maloney might challenge Senator Gillibrand as well, so maybe add her.
