matvail2002
http://rapidshare.com/files/154370059/_lec..._chefs.rar.html I am done with the scenario for a beta version for the Canadian PM4E! This is my first scenario and I must say that it's pretty crappy, but you can give it a try. -All the dates, numbers and candidates for 2007 are okay and there. -I've put one candidate for Québec Solidaire/Parti Vert for each riding. -The new logos for the PQ, the ADQ and Québec Solidaire are all there. -Two new leaders added- André Boisclair for the PQ and Philippe Couillard for the Liberals and more of them to come. Do you have any other suggestions for more leaders? PM me if you want to Beta-test it! Thanks!

Treasurer
I say it's pretty good, and i prefer it to the other 3 Quebec scenario's because it's a more competitive election, with the 3rd party much more prominent. A lot of candidates you've got already!
keithl4170
I'll try it on the Prime Minister Forever Canada 2008 version. keithl4170@comcast.net Thanks.
Kauai
First I will say this is a really fun scenario, - and you did a good job. Is there any way to tone down parties asking for colatition offers, though? I can't play PQ without ADQ and PLQ teaming up on me, - and as the PLQ I had both the AdQ and the PQ ask for a colatition. The PLQ and PQ??? xD Other than that, very fun.
matvail2002
I say it's pretty good, and i prefer it to the other 3 Quebec scenario's because it's a more competitive election, with the 3rd party much more prominent. A lot of candidates you've got already! I did it because it was surely one of the most interesting election in Québec since 1976 with the rise of the ADQ (centre-right party) especially in Québec City, in rural areas and in suburbs and exburbs (a big surprise to many). The PQ was really unpopular at that time because of André Boisclair (their leader) having big leadership problems because of his past. One might also think that was because of his sexual orientation and the fact that he was taking cocaine when he was environement minister. The Liberal Party was capable of winning a minority gov't because of it's core support in Montréal, the Eastern Townships and the Outaouais (where I live). Since then, the Liberals are getting stronger, the ADQ is failling down but now rebounding a little bit and the PQ have leadership problems with Pauline Marois with leader. The real results: Liberal Party=48 seats=33% ADQ=41 seats=30% PQ=36 seats=28% Green Party=0 seat=3% Québec Solidaire=0 seat=3% The Liberal are in red. The ADQ is in dark blue. The PQ is in light blue. Do you see some similarities with the scenario?

I must say that this is a very big problem that I did not see at first glance! I will try to work with party relations. Basically, only these coaltions are possible: PLQ (possible at a certain point) ADQ PQ (not highly possible) ADQ PQ (possible) QS
EGaffney
This is a good scenario - the scenarios with more than two parties are best! You can simply include a party relations file, and set each relation to 30-50. Another good idea would be to include goals for each player. e.g. PLQ should try to win a majority (?) or the Left coalition should try to win several seats. Patine
I've finally got around to starting a myself, and I must say it does look good. My first suggestion is to switch the PQ and ADQ colors to match the typical colors in federal scenarios of the party that party's supporters tend to support federally. Just a thought. I'll give more feedback after I play more.

graemp
I was rummaging around the scenarios on my PC looking for this one but all I could find was a 2007 Quebec scenario adapted I think from a 2003 scenario from that I had half finished. I would happily exchange these files for a copy of your 2007 scenario

EGaffney
Why is it called "Le choc des chefs"? I speak French but I'm not "au fait" with Quebecois politics.
matvail2002
Basically, ''Le choc des chefs'' means ''The clash of the leaders''. So, it's basically a very general title.
