I don't know if i can talk about this here, but maybe giving the shortest of answers will keep it open, just state the political party you support and you can vary that country to country if you wish, i'm interested to know what everybody else's is. :)

Mine's is Conservative Party (UK)

If i was Canadian: Conservative

If i was American: Democrat(Obama), However in 2000, i would've voted Republican.

If I was British: Liberal Democrats

If I was Canadian: Liberal

I am American, and a progressive Democrat all the way. The Republicans are a party for Corporate Welfare and Elitism to put it simply.

Mine is: Green Party (UK).

If i was Canadian: Liberal Party.

If i was American: Democratic Party.

My position is Left Wing, with some Centre-Left views as well.

I'm a Democratic Liberal/Socialist.

FYI, the Liberal Party of Canada is not really centre-left or socialist, it's more the equivalant of the New Labor.

I would say it depends more on who it is, - it's hard to say that one party is like this or that when a party is made up of many members. Dion is certainlly centrist on economic issues [ except the carbon tax ] but is quite left leaning on social issues.

I would support American Libertarians if it weren't for their (and the democrats) plans to betray our troops and surrender all they have worked for.

Right, that must be why the top two people the troops contribute to are...

Obama

Anti-War Republican Ron Paul

Yes but I'm closer to the GOP then the CHP but closer to the CHP then the Conservative Party of Canada.

The CHP is such a marginal party (with 0,19% of the vote in the 2006 election) that it can be compared as the Socialist USA Party or the U.S. Prohibition Party. The Rhino Party even got more votes than that!

I would support the Republicans if they didn't betray the American people, the United States, the Constitution, Bill of Rights and our troops. But since they turned our back on everything we hold dear the only ones that can fix this nation are the Democrats.

HAHAHAHA The Republicans are not the ones who call the Constitution a "living document," that should change with the times. The Republicans are not the ones who oppose the 2nd ammendment in the bill of rights, the Republicans are not the ones who want to turn their backs on all the gains made in Iraq and surrender, the Republicans are not the ones against the statement that are whole country is based on (that being the right to LIFE liberty and the pursuit of hapiness, need I go on.
