mz452
This should be quite an interesting election, because the Governor is going to face a tough primary. I don't have time to make this scenario, but here are the candidates I would put in the race. Democrats Governor Rod Blagojevich Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn Attorney General Lisa Madigan Comptroller Dan Hynes Secretary of Commerce Bill Daley Paul Vallas Republicans St. Sen. Christine Radogno St. Sen. Carole Pankau States Attorney Joe Birkett Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka St. Sen. Bill Brady Green Dan Rodriguez-Schlorff Kathy J. Cummings Julie Samuels Rich Whitney Independent Mayor Lawrence J. Morrissey
Abe Lincoln
I would add Obama as off.
VoteGOP
I would add Obama as off. If Obama loses he's likely to stay in the senate and prepare for a 2012 run. By the time hes sworn in he'll already be starting his campaign for prez.
Kheldin
How about Jesse Jackson Jr. ?
arrabin56
Can't see Obama trying again if he loses in 08. He won't be fresh or exciting anymore.
floorman81
How about Jesse Jackson Jr. ? Topink and Pankau are not running and should not be included. Those who might: Sen. Dan Rutherford (has the most $$ out of all the R candidates) Ron Gidwitz (sp?)
